SOURCE: Wireless thermo clock not reading outside temp
I've had a similar problem with another model, an Oregon Scientific Model IWA-80055 Wireless Thermo Clock, in which when I replaced the batteries in the remote sensor, the clock would not read the temperature from the remote sensor.
I found it fairly consistent to solve this by taking a battery out of place in the clock and putting it back in. Unfortunately this also messed up the clock's time and date. This is also in the instructions catalogue for the device, check and see if yours gives a similar solution.

First thing to do is remove all batteries. After you do that, insert the new batteries into your receiver unit. After a few seconds, insert the batteries into first sensor (-> ch 1) After first sensor has connected (beep from receiver) insert the batteries into second sensor. Click on the link below to access the user manual for the WS303G

Push and hold down the channel button, wait for beep, then on the sensor, push and hold the tx button, wait for beep.

Try pushing the reset button on the inside of the battery compartment of the remote unit then push the reset button on the back of the main unit (you'll need a paperclip or tooth pick to push the buttons). If that fails I'd start from scratch by removing the batteries from both the remote unit and the main unit then replace the batteries to the remote unit first and push reset, then replace the batteries to the main unit and if necessary push the reset button on the main unit too. Hope this helps.
