Canon NP6050 on off switch trips almost instantly. When the front door is open it stays on, but as soon as you close it and it starts warming up, it shuts itself off. What could the problem be?

SOURCE: Canon NP6050 Error code E013

E013 refers to the waste toner receptical being full, but in this case the toner melts at the end of the worm screw assembly causing the cleaning unit to block up, activating the microswitch which tells the machine the waste toner bottle is full. The solution is to try to free up the worm screw assembly, failing that, replacement of the drum cleaning assembly.

SOURCE: Canon IR 210S "Close the Lower Right Door" warning

Yes there is a sensor that most likely got knocked out of place. What you can do is to turn the copier off and disconnect the bottom 2 trays from the main body of the copier and turn it back on and just use the top 2 trays. You can change the trays lay out to what ever size you want, but make sure you change the BLUE DIAL to the correct size you want to use. I belive the sensor is toward the front of the copier right by the edge of the door, it may be knocked out of place or the flag on the door is broken off or one of the door pins are broken and the door is not closing correctly.... Good Luck..

SOURCE: Canon np6030

Most likely, you have a problem with the scanning lamp.... When you turn the copier on, will it turn right off? If so, try to hold the power switch "ON". The Display pannel will flash a Error Code... It may be a E0200 or E0220 or E000. Get the Error Code and get back to us... I think you have a heat or scanning lamp is shorting out... Good Luck

SOURCE: i want to get some help about canon np6050 error

Hello jig,
I wish to help you quickly as you are down. I dont have immediate access to the older analog service manual and Canon no longer keeps it on their website. However, E005 has been a common error code for many products, if not all. It means that the cleaning web (which is an item that is "used/consumed "normally as the copier is used.) has run out.The copier should have been diplaying (in small letters on the dispay) "WEB LOW" for quite a while. It needs a new cleaning web.An untrained end user could change this but without instruction most people would not be able to. Its located in the fuser area onder a yellow cover. I bet you can do it !

HI... HOW TO FIX CANON ADV IR4235 E000840?

E840 is an error detection to the fixing inlet home position sensor.

PS63 (Fixing Inlet sensor) and PS66 (Fixing Inlet HP sensor)

may be caused by a poor connection on the front door switch. Try inspecting & re-seating the connection at the front door open/close switch=
++ make sure the front door is not vibrating away from the front door open/close switch (MSW7).
The door Magnet Action Catch may not properly be holding the door closed.

++ if paper is stuck in unit 1 frame side connector you might get a E840. If no paper is found in the connector check the connector for damage or cracks. Frame side connector assembly (FM2-5091-000).

Asko d1756 power trips when door is closed

The switch in the door may have a bare wire touching the sides causing a short. Check a schematic for the proper way to remove and test the switch. Look for bare wires or any insulation cracks.

Door won't engage and stay closed

Possible that the lock was broken and so the door opened. You can remove the front panel and check for broken plastic or nylon pieces which can be glued using instant adhesive.
Reset the lock and switch and the door must lock in correctly

Lights stay on constantly even when not running; does not run aft

That clip is necessary as it tells the dryer when the door is open and when the door is closed. you will have to get a new door switch.

Burners go out before the fan starts

that makes no sense? the door on does exactly the same thing as you holding the switch closed and neither has anything to do with the problem you are describing. if door were off nothing would happen. if door was on ,nothing would happen unless the switch was closed. it may be coincidence, but sounds like the unit is not proofing the flame. look for a little needle like sensor that protrudes into the flame path in front of a burner. when the burners light it senses flame and tells gas valve burners lit and its ok to stay on. then heat builds and the fan is briught on. once in a blue moon the overtemp sensor trips open prematurely as soon as the burners start to heat up. it is a little wire in , wire out sensor above the burners that protreudes into the bulkhead above the burners. if it is cold and open its bad. if you jump it and burners light and stay lit and fan comes on its bad. fairly cheap and easy to replace. you may have an old fan limit switch the rotates like a spring to bring the fan on as it heats up, then turns off burner if its gets to hot or is set to low. it also turns fan of as burners cool down.

Power will not stay on. If I open the front door (Toner Compactment) The paoer stays on, with the instroction to close the front door appearig on the display. If I slowly close the front door with the left...

you did not mention what type of machine you have, but, sounds to me like you have a fuser problem. With a Canon ( which is what it sounds that you have) you need to open the front door and press a service switch on the left by the counter and see what the code is.
