None that I know of. Just make sure that the flap is facing down when using the bypass tray, I can't remember if the flap must go towards the rear or front. I believe, when you put an envelope in the bypass tray, you will also have to follow the prompts to make sure that you indicate on the display that an envelope is being used.

How do I print an envelope on my Canon MP510?

Envelopes must be fed from the Auto Sheet Feeder. Use either European DL or US Comm. Env. #10-sized envelope.
Important :
  • You need to print from the computer to print on envelopes.
  • Do not use envelopes with embossed or treated surfaces, a double flap, pressure seals, or sticker flaps.
  • Select either DL Env. or Comm. Env. #10 in the printer driver according to the envelope size you are using. If you do not, the address will be printed in the wrong direction.

1 : Retract the Paper Support.

2 : Load the envelope against the Cover Guide (the right side of the Paper Support).
Load with the front face UP and the rear flaps DOWN on the left.
A maximum of 10 envelopes can be loaded at once.

*2 Make sure the flaps are folded.
Important : Make sure that the Cover Guide is set upright.

3 : Pinch the Paper Guide and slide it against the left side of the envelope.

4 : Press the Paper Feed Switch so that the Auto Sheet Feeder lamp lights up.

How do I print envelopes in the printer Samsung SCX 4824fn? thanks

• Successful printing on envelopes depends upon the

quality of the envelopes. When selecting envelopes,

consider the following factors:

- Weight: The weight of the envelope paper should

not exceed 90 g/m2 or jamming may occur.

- Construction: Prior to printing, envelopes should

lie flat with less than 6 mm curl, and should not

contain air.

- Condition: Envelopes should not be wrinkled,

nicked, or otherwise damaged.

- Temperature: You should use envelopes that are

compatible with the heat and pressure of the

machine during operation.

• Use only well-constructed envelopes with sharp and

well creased folds.

• Do not use stamped envelopes.

• Do not use envelopes with clasps, snaps, windows,

coated lining, self-adhesive seals, or other synthetic

materials.

• Do not use damaged or poorly made envelopes.

• Be sure the seam at both ends of the envelope
extends all the way to the corner of the envelope.

Envelopes with a peel-off adhesive strip or with

more than one flap that folds over to seal must use

adhesives compatible with the machine's fusing

temperature for 0.1 second. Check your machine's

specification to view the fusing temperature, see

page 82. The extra flaps and strips might cause

wrinkling, creasing, or jams, and may even damage

the fuser.

• For the best print quality, position margins no closer

than 15 mm from the edges of the envelope.

• Avoid printing over the area where the envelope's
seams meet.

Place the side to be printed facing up.

How come i can't print on 4 3/4x6 1/2 envelopes? The envelopes keep getting jammed in the machine.

try the bypass.... if unable to print via bypass then clean rubber bypass feed rollers with alcohol... next step... see if it jams at the finisher... if so set the machine to exit from an internal tray... if it has one...

Print en enveolppe with hp color laser jet 2600n

Envelopes can be printed from tray 1 or 2. Select the type of envelope you are using from the PRINT dialog box or the driver. In your program, set the margins. Typical margins for a commercial #10 or DL envelope would be: Return Address Top margin 15mm(0.6 Inch) Left margin 15mm(0.6 Inch), Delivery Address Top margin 51mm(2 Inches) Left margin 89mm(3.5 Inches). For the best print quality, position margins no closer than 15mm (0.6 Inch) from the edges of the envelope. Avoid printing on the seams of the envelope. Envelopes with a peel-off adhesive strip or more than one flap that folds over to seal must use adhesives that are compatible with the heat and pressure of the printer fuser. the extra flaps and seals can cause wrinkling, creasing and feed jams, could even damage the fuser.
