Hey tjames2ya,

If your XBox 360 is not turning on, you may wish to verify that the power adaptor is functioning correctly. The power adaptor should have a light somewhere on its casing that shows up green, red or orange when plugged in. Each of these colors is an indication of a different problem:

* Green indicates that power is being correctly supplied to the XBox 360. If the XBox 360 still does not turn on, you will need to contact Microsoft for repairs and support.

* Orange indicates that at least one connection is loose. Making sure that all of the cables attached to the XBox 360 are secure should resolve this type of problem, and allow your console to power on.

* Red indicates that the power adaptor has either overheated or needs to be replaced. If the light is out, this may also be an indicator that the power adaptor is defective, but it may just as easily be a sign that the outlet the XBox 360 was plugged into did not provide enough electricity to power the console.

Unfortunately, in order to reset the XBox 360 you will need power to be supplied to the console. If replacing the power adaptor or double-checking your connections does return power to the console, you may then reset it by performing a "power cycle" (turning the unit off, then back on roughly 10-15 seconds later).

Hope this helps you out.

Sincerely,
Aaron

Canon Pixma MP160 stopped working, showing E 2 - paper is not jammed - Printer is NOT hooked up to a computer - only used for scan and print in farm shop (heated) - suggestions? It is an oldie but a...

First thing to try is pressing the "Stop/Reset" button. If that doesn't work, hold it down for more than 10 seconds and release. If that doesn't work try turning off the printer, unplug the power cord for more than 10 seconds then reconnect and turn the printer on again.
If the printer was connected to a computer, there might be more information provided about the source of the problem. Otherwise, a last resort would be to reset the printer. Follow this exactly:
  1. Turn off the printer (using "Power" button) but leave it plugged into the wall socket.
  2. Press and hold the "Stop/Reset" button (red circle in the triangle), and without releasing the "Stop/Reset" button, press and hold the "Power" button (indicator light shows green).
  3. While holding down the "Power" button, release the "Stop/Reset" button.
  4. Continue holding down the "Power" button, double click the "Reset" button and release the "Power" button.
  5. Click the "Stop/Reset" button four times
  6. Press the "Power" button to confirm and turn the printer off. Turn printer on again.

I have conon mx 868 but i have got error message 6502 and 150 how can i solve the problem?

Here are instructions:

The MPTool is designed for service works with the printer Canon MP-Series
when in Low-Level mode. This is NOT the same as "service mode"

Currently supported for
MP150, MP160, MP170, MP180, MP450, MP460. MP150, MP160, MP170, MP180, MP450, MP460.

BEFORE activating MPTool...you need to

To activate LOW LEVEL mode:

1. Unplug the power cord to the printer for a moment.

2. Then, hold down the on/off button while plugging in the power cord. Keep holding the on/off button down.

3. Right away the green power light (in the button) will turn on solid. Keep holding the on/off button down.

4. Press and release the Stop/Reset button.

Your printer will show up as "another" Cannon printer.
When you finish you must again unplug the power cord for a moment and then just plug it back in. After you do this, you'll see both printers listed in Printers (controll panel) and one will show as offline. You can then rename this offline printer as "Low Mode Canon"

Sometimes the Canon printers which use PG-5BK/CL-8 colour cartridges with chips will give error mesaages like 6502 or other types of error meaasge to do with the cartridges, which has the orange light flashing and the printer will not work. Follow this procedure which quite often resets the printer and allows it to resume printing.

When error is indicated, turn power switch off so green light is extinguished.

First hold down resume button and then hold down power button so both are held down at same time

When green light comes on, continue holding down power button and let resume button go, then press resume button twice. Then let power button go.

Then press resume button four times, power button should be releasedbefore doing this.

Wait until printer settles down, if power is off, turn on. If power will not come on, remove power cord from back of printer, then wait 15 seconds before plugging back in again and turn power on. This normally solves the error problem - if not go through same procedure again.

Incidentally, you may find that if the chips had previously been disabled, the low ink warnings are showing againand they will have to be disabled once more. This would indicate that the above procedure clears the firmware memory of the disabling of the chips, this may be usefull if you need some warranty work done on you printer after the chips had been disabled. Canon does warn that disabling the chips may result in the printer's warranty being voided
