My wireless adapter keeps blinking
First of all reset your broadband router by sticking a pointy object in the reset hole until you hear a small click, then wait a couple of minutes and try your xbox again. If you're still having problems try a different wireless adapter or use a cable direct to your xbox from your router, If none of these work unplug your xbox from the mains and unplug your router from the mains wait a couple of minutes plug it all back in again and run the setup on your xbox again...

I gather from reading this that you have another router that is connected to the Actiontec. The Xbox connects to the other router. You need to check the settings on the other router and the modem to see if the DHCP is enabled, also check to see what the subnet is set to. Make sure they all match. Then check those settings on the x-box.

Why does my xbox 360 wireless network adapter keep
Hi Keith
You may have already learned this... but ti sounds like the card is going out. Nothing to do but replace it. You can TRY to factory reset your Xbox. But that wont likely resolve the issue. Make sure to back up your info before doing so as all will be lost. Replacing the card isnt extremely complicated if you are familiar with internal workings of a computer. But if not, you are better off having a professional do it. There will be a fee involved though, sadly. And I wouldnt recommend this as your first try-it-yourself job if you arent familiar. Hope things have resolved! Cheers!

I have a Xbox 360
If other devices can connect once your son is off then it might not be a problem with a router. Try connecting the xbox VIA WI-FI. If the problem persits i would contact your ISP.
