You can only get this from an authorized Canon dealer. The system software will have to be reloaded also. If this does not resolve the problem you will need a new HDD. Hello, this is error for fixing film rotation. There is no reset code, you need to replace fixing film in fixing unit, Fixing unit is located under left sideway door above drum unit ( green roller ).
E051 - Horizontal registration sensor problems E001 - Fixing temperature faulty E805 - The Fan rotation problems
It can be that You have problems with DC contoller ( main pcb ) or the copier is in worst condition and there are faults on every segment.
For E001, you can try to reset error:
1. The following error codes cannot be reset by merely turning off and then on the main power. They require resetting in service mode: E000, E001, E002, E003, E004, E032, E717 1) Start service mode, and select COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>ERR. 2) Press the OK key. 3) Turn off and then on the main power. 2. To enter the service mode:
1) Press the asterisk key ' ' on the control panel. 2) Press '2' and '8' on the keypad at the same time. 3) Press the asterisk key ' ' on the control panel

PS If not you have problem in fixing unit, probably the fixing thermistor and need to be replaced.
Look for the error code, that would lead you to the problem area, most likely the fuser assy. needs to be replaced. Do this, Press;
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS,
press 2 and 8 (together),
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS again,
You should now be in Service mode, if not hit CLEAR twice then repeat the steps above.
press COPIER,
press ERR
the one listed at the top is the error code.(write it down)
You can try clearing the code then reboothing the machine with the right side switch and it might work.
This is how you clear the code, follow all the steps above except the last one (ERR) instead select FUNCTION above then CLEAR then ERR. Turn the machine off then back on again.
If that does not help and you are still having the same problem, you could either call Canon with a service call, call a local technician or get yourself a service manual and with the error code you wrote down above try looking it up or contact us again with the error code. Good luck.
