How to print one document on mutiple trays
Once you have installed and setup a multi-tray printer you might like to try to print a document to different printer trays. Open a word document and create a two page document.
- Select your new printer under file->Print (if it's not the default)
- Click the page layout tab
- Click the small triangle at the bottom right
- Open the page setup dialog box and click the page Paper Tab
- Choose a tray for the first page and other pages. Close the dialog box and print.

Kyocera FS 4000 cassette error
under the front of the cassette on the bottom is a white catch if you pull it towards you the paper will spring up. more then likely it is not automatically getting pushed when you put the cassette in.
if this is not correct if you take the cassette out and look in where you took it out of there should be a arm hanging down just left of center that is the paper out sensor arm of that is broken it could be your problem also

Hi error code: Call service 6020:0053103 Can't
according to my reading, a flashing power lights indicates a problem you can solve on your own. while a error like you typed would mean something that you cannot resolve without help. a problem like a bad controller, or a bad chip. maybe a eeprom issue.
If Call service appears, turn off the printer, disconnect the power cord, and contact your service technician
Some errors cause the alarm to sound. To stop the alarm, press [Cancel].
#### represents a mechanical error (#=0, 1, 2, ...). Call for service. The printer does not operate when this message is displayed. The total number of pages printed is also indicated, e.g. 0123456.
This woiuld mean you printed 53103 pages with that printer before the error occurred.
Good Luck

My printer kyocera fs-4000dn print a line of toner
If the spot repeats it self down the page in a repetitive mark the same distance each time you have a build up or scratch on the drum or fuser roller. If the spot is about 2.5-3 inches appart each time it is the fuser roller. If it is more like 5 inches apart each time it is the drum.
If the spot looks more like a wet spot and is about 2 inches apart then you may have a build up on your developer mag roller. let me know if you need more help.

This error code indicates a problem related to paper cassette lift mechanism. First thing that you will need to check is, if the printer makes some strange noises at initialization, when the printer is trying to lift the paper inside cassette. You can verify if the lift mechanism on the printer is ok, by removing paper cassette and press the 3 small white switches on the left of printer. At this moment the printer is trying to lift the cassette and you will see a gear that rotates on the right side of printer. Also verify if the GEAR LIFT Z64 is intact by opening the gearbox(the big one from the gears from the right side of paper cassette). This gear is cracked in most cases. Replace it.

Kyocera not feeding paper.
Open paper tray, locate the feed roller (small rubbery wheel) and moisten a cloth. Gently clean the roller to remove build up of paper dust from it.
Also worth using is some "anti static foam cleanser" on the cloth to help deep clean the rollers, or the pre-moistened "Screen wipes"
Also check there is nothing blocking hte paper path, remove paper cassette, and toner catridge (and drum if I recall correctly) and see if you can feed a sheet of paper MANUALLY from tray up into the "imaging chamber" where the toner lives. If this feels too stiff, there could be an obstruction in the way, fragment of paper scrunched up after a REAL jam, or fault sensor arm.
If you find something and can remove it, reassemble, and test

How do i get rid of the call service message
pull the toner and
developer
(they come out as one unit unless you delibrately seperate them) out of the top of the printer. Open the side door on the print and remove the waste toner bottle. You'll see a gray button above where the bottle was. Push the button and pull the drum out about a half and inch. Push back in firmly until it clicks. Reinstall bottle and reinstall toner and developer. Should work from there, but you may have to power off, then power on.
