Canon touch screen stop working

I've had the same problem,try to fix it,but at the end,I have to replace touch screen

is it just the touch that stops working? or all off the computer?

Need a new touch screen.One other option. Push utility/counter meter count then press stop 00 stop 02. Places machine in maintenance mode. Then press the utiltiy/counter will see maintenance mode press that find touch screen adjustment. follow the screenthen press start. T clear maintenamce mode and flashing start button. Power off machine main power left side of the machine to the rear.

If you ligthly press the shutter button then the screen with the settings must appear.
The same with the "Q" button.

my canon IR6000 touch screen is not working

can You Operate switches on control panel,
like '1', 2 start etc. 

I believe under the aditional funcation screen, you can calibrate the touch screen. Is the screen working at all? Does it look like there is Water on it and you can not wipe it OFF. If so, the display screen is cracked and needs to be replaced.

chunk it in the trash like all *** products is being sold re manufactured in to the us....

Start with service mode, Additional functions(looks like * key), then 2,8 together, then addit. func. again. Has to be a fluid motion. If done right you will see a screen with copier, and whatever options the copier has. Hit copier key. Hit function key. Hit panel key. Hit touch key option, hit OK. Then touch the nine + signs. once complete. press reset to get out and test results. Hope this helps.
