How i can solve Error code e000007-0000 canon 2420i

Error 5100 means that the cartridge can not be detected by the printer.
Actually the printer is not actually loading the cartridge and showing you the error 5100.
To solve these follow the following steps

1. Turn off printer
2. Remove both the cartridges from the printer
3. Use a clothe moistened with alcohol to clean the surface contact on the cartridges where the terminals inside the printers touches
4. Return the cartridges
5. Turn on the printer.

Error will be removed but If the problem is not resolved, then best option is to take it back where you purchased it or contact Canon service center about the error code or To get support by Canon on phone, then call at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666)
They will surely solve it.

Hi,
This can be either of three main thing. 
1. The machine detects the film out of place and needs to be reset, you do this by activating the service mode. Insert paper clip into hole (inside machine), then * * and service mode shud activate, then click error code and clear all errors. 

2. The film is out of place, the fuser needs to be removed and the film manually moved back to the hope position 

3. The film is torn and needs to be replaced (LONG WORK AHEAD)[/code]
