I want to scan a document to send to email how do I do this

click on the canon scan icon either in the desktop or progranms and it should open up a selection panel like photo to fole , photo to e-mail, document to file , document to e-mail, photo to tif etc
place the document to be scanned on the machine and press document to e-mail
it scans then opens up a new e-mail message with the document as an attachment
all you do is add the receiver address and what you want to say and then send
All of the instructions are in the user manual or you can download the user manual from google by typing in --user manual for canon pixma 432 copier --

How do you scan

with my cannon i have to go to start menu, select windows photo gallery from all programs - once open in top bar is file with down arrow click- see import scanner printer click- your printer should be listed click import - new screen will open- document type should be document not photo- color format grey scale color etc, i leave color, leave image a jpeg - then click scan after setting document in printer window, assuming you have a lift open printer, place document face down in the upper left hand corner. click scan - save document with title you want and open email search documents type document name and attach to email.

How do you scan a document to send thru email

Hi
Once you have scanned a document it should appear on your computer as a picture file of some sort. This depends on the scanner. If you would like to send it via email you should open an email message and just simply click on where it says attach. You then choose the picture file that you wanted to scan and then wait for it to finish uploading the file. After this just simply send the email

You need to scan it into either Adobe Acrobat professional, or MS Word, or Publisher.. It must be done as OCR mode. You can get software like scantoPDF, or similar. Check out the links below, the 2nd one explains how to scan into Word.

How do I scan a document to send as attachment on email?

Using either the controls on the front of the printer or the Canon software that comes with the printer, scan your document. This should open up a dialogue box on your computer showing the image/document you scanned. Save it to a convenient place on your hard drive. Open your email and click 'Attach', and navigate to the file where you saved the document. Double click it and it will attach to your email. Select a recipient and add text to the body if you wish, and then send! If you need more specific instructions, I would use the 'help' toolbar in the software that opens when you scan, and type a search phrase such as 'attach to email'. Hope this helps--

Scan to pc

Hi,
There's several ways to do this. I will tell you the easiest, (at least to explain).
1st- scan the document as usual, save it to your documents. ( to do this, look on your desktop for Canon Solutions- if not there it will be in your programs. This will open a box letting you scan from your scanner & save to your PC)
2nd- open an email, address it. Then click on the little icon at the top of your email that looks like a paper clip. This will open a box, just navigate to your documents & click once on the document that you want. This will put it in the email & you're ready to send. If you don't see a paper clip icon then click on 'insert'. This will do the same thing. If this helps plz rate this as 'fixya'. If you need more help leave a comment & I'll be happy to help.   1. put the document on the scaner.
  2. turn on the unit.
  3. press scan on unit or using the utility that comes with it.
  4. then attach it to an email.
