You cant can to email using gmail server. they have hundreds of different servers. would reccoment setting up scan to folder either to a shared folder on your server or straight to your c drive if needing some confidentiality

Some times printer manufacturer provide print and scanner drivers separately, did you try to find "print driver"?
Or... some times when you plug your device prior to start installation agent, it do not work until... you re-connect your printer in to other USB port. Try it!

I want to scan but it doesn't let le scan or copy anything, It says that my colour ink has finished but does that mean it doesn't let me even scan or copy, beacuase it has nothing to do with printing. Is...

It should let you scan, but you cant copy, if the ink is empty.
Probably just a scam so you cant use the device with no inks.
If you go to the control panel, you may be able to use the scanner from there. You may just have to replace the inks.
Seems a rip off to me.

Copy settings

its normal in hp printers.it is not a fault.still u can delete the old drivers and reload the printer drivers again.as it will delete all the old setting which is making it slow and will work properly.

You just stated the problem yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you using Letter or Legal?? then the tray need to be set to that particular size.

If using Legal set to Legal, otherwise the machine will automatically know you are using the wrong size.
