Leading
cause of paper jams is debris/foreign objects that accidentally fell into the
paper feed area. Please follow steps below to fix the problem:
1. Remove
the sheets of paper from the feeder.
2. Grab a
flashlight and look inside the feeder for any debris or foreign objects.
3. If
you're willing and physically able, you may also turn the printer over. Any
debris should just freely roll out from the feeder.
4. If
feeder is clear, place the printer back on the table, open the printer cover
and remove the cartridges.
5. Check
the cartridge area for any obstructions/debris in the cartridge carrier's path
or the paper path.
6. If
cartridge area is clear, close the cover.
7. Rebrick
(pull out power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the
back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds).
8. When the
printer turns on, reinsert the cartridges and load some paper. Try to print
again.

paper jams in the print mode
Press the color button to feed the paper through but continues to jam under the print cartridge
I printed about 120 envelopes sideways and now A4 paper will not feed in but gets jammed. It is as though the feeder bit on the left side is not pulling the paper in at the same speed as the spooler on the right. Any suggestions? I have had to remove some jammed envelopes from the rear right hand side only so I wonder if this has caused it?
I have an epsom stylus CX6600. I have had paper jams in the past but alway managed 2 clear it, but today the paper keeps jamming for no apparent reason(definataly no obstructions in feeder...) Each time I retry, the paper seem to be pulled fasted to the left side causing the sheet to jam!!! Any help in this area would be greatly apprieciated...thankzSu
