We have the E260d.

You can unplug the printer from the wall, then leave it off for about 30 seconds then plug it back in. That should reset the printer, if not read what the message says on the screen, or you may have to navigate through the settings to see the error message.

How do I print faxes

Usually, faxes are temporarily sent to the printer's memory when one of the cartridges' ink level is not substantial for printing. You are advised to replace the cartridge/s, *without navigating away from the message "fax sent to memory", by opening the printer cover and replacing the low-ink cartridge/s. After the new cartridge/s is installed, close the printer cover and press OK button to let printer print the fax stored in the memory.


* Make sure not to navigate away from the "fax sent to memory" message. You will lose the fax-in-memory data once you turn off the printer or navigate away from the message.

My printer will power itself

It could be that your printer is not getting enough power to turn itself on properly. Try to re-brick your printer. Pull out the power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds.



If that doesn't help, try to insert your printer into a different known working power outlet in the wall. This will help us identify if it's a faulty power outlet issue.

I GOT MY INK (NOT

Lexmark does not recommend the use of refilled or unauthorized cartridges. These tend to degrade print quality and cartridge/printer performance. I would highly recommend you replace your non-Lexmark cartridges with new genuine ones.

Lexmark will not printer it

A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. Simply disconnect the printer from your computer. Reboot your pc. Unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, reconnect it to your computer. Then try to print again once the computer fully recognizes the USB connection.


If that doesn't help, try the steps below:

1. Disconnect the printer from your computer.

2. Re-brick your printer. Pull out the power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds.

2. On your computer, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes.

3. Delete the Lexmark print object.

4. Reboot your pc.

5. When your pc turns on, reconnect the printer.

6. Wait until your pc fully recognizes the USB connection. To check, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes. If you see a new Lexmark print object in the list, then try to print a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.


You may also try to update your printer driver by visiting the Lexmark website at http://bit.ly/eVzv1x. Select your operating system, download and execute the file.

Have just tried to insert

Please remove the cartridges from the printer. Take a dry lint free paper towel and gently wipe the contacts on the back of the cartridge (not the bottom from where ink is present). Wipe the contacts inside the printer (on cartridge carrier). Please snap the cartridges back into the cartridge carrier and please try to print a printer self test.

My lexmark S305 printer wont print from my

If other print jobs (go through without any problem) from any other applications on your computer, then the problem could be just from your expressit SX3 program. Please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center to further diagnose this problem.
