My printer keeps saying there is a paper jam. But

My canon printer keeps saying there is a paper jam. But there is NO paper jam. What do I do?

I have turned it on and off. I've turned my computer on and off. I have unplugged and examined the printer every which way but it keeps reading paper jam.

Could I be out of ink? Wouldn't it just say out of ink?

If the printer is sensing a paper jam, then there is either a small piece of paper jammed under a sensor, or the sensor is falsely reporting a jam.

If you cannot find the sliver of paper, I suggest that you contact Canon Technical Support or take the printer to an authorized repair shop.

Canon iP 1600 printer won't print. Says that

Hi
If it keep saying paper jam Then it maybe just that you may not see any paper in it but it only takes a very small bit of paper that stopping it or I would take a closer look inside, you may have had a paper jam before and it has left a small nit inside. All Best: Pineworks

Canon MX300 Paper Jam

I have the same problem - every time I turn on my printer now, the alarm signal shows up with "Paper jam" but when I check for jammed paper, there is none. So I think there's something faulty with the printer. Is there any way to reset it? I've looked everywhere but can't find it.

Printer keeps saying paper jam..there is no paper jam

You can also try using a rubber eraser as the rollers are going. Just take a pencil and lightly rub along the length of the rollers as they are feeding. This should remove the film that clogs the rollers surface.
