I'm sure you double checked, but I have forgotten to plug the connectors from the control back together before putting the top back on. Seems obvious but I've done it more than once. Good luck. (And make sure your house breaker isn't tripped)

SOURCE: Problems with LG WM-2277HW Front Load Washer

It is a rare problem but I've seen it happen.  The only way to resolve this issue immediately is to remove the top of the washer to gain access to the dispenser.  The dispenser can be disassembled by unsnapping the top section where the hoses are connected.  Once the top section is lifted, you can safely pull the drawer out.  Not sure what happened but more than likely the water dispenser has warped downward causing it to jam the drawer.  Recommend replacing the dispenser to resolve this problem.

SOURCE: DS Lite repair worked, but only until I put it back together

You may have some pressure somewhere that it shouldn't be. The electrical tape takes up space, and could be taking space that is not there when the console is assembled. Or you keep knocking a connection loose when you put it together.

Try it while it's on. If the console crashes or dies at any point, whatever step you were in the middle of is probably causing that problem. Just make sure not to get anything in it while you were, and don't touch any electrical parts, in case you accidentally short something.

I have a GE front load washer ( model wcvh6400j0ww ) the tub is loose i checked the pulley and bearings have no movement . the parts diagram i have dont show the back of the tub, so i cant tell how the...

that sounds like a broken spider that's what holds the drum i think that model is a sealed drum so you cant get to put a new one on if you want to take the lid off and if you can see bolts screws or clips holding the plastic drum together if it has any of them the it can be stripped down to take the drum out but you will find if its just a spider then its going to cost around 50 to 60 pound if its a sealed drum where the spider is pop rivet to the drum then you will need to by a drum complete with spider big job i'm not joking OK if you need more help get back to me OK

How do you install a Motor board control on a whirlpool duet?

Unplug washer. Remove bottom access panel. Off to the left you will see the motor control board. Its held in pace usally by 1/4 inch nut. Remove nut and than lift front up a little bit and pull forward. There is a tab on the back side. DO NOT TOUCH NEW BOARD. Static electricity discharge from the body will ruin it. Easiest way of doing this is keeping it in the bubble wrap while installing. Reconnect all the wires. They are all quick connects that cant be put in the wrong place. Remember the tab in the back for new board so put tab in place than set down to screw together. If you have anymore questions or need help Please comment me back and I will assist further.

How to remove and change the battery in a Tom Tom GO 540 Live.

Answer: AnswerI have TomTom 910 in USA, (and I have one in the UK). Access to the battery is behind the front screen but the plug is under the circuit boards.

1) Remove 4 screws under ends of rubber strips on back. (All screws are Torx number 6)

2) Remove back cover. Front frame around screen comes off easier now.

3) Remove 2 screws in round top circuit board. Remove 4 screws from lower circuit board. These two boards may have a glue connection. Do not worry if it separates

4) Lay back circuit boards to unplug battery. Note flat ribbon cables are fragile. The 3 wire plug is the battery. Unplug wires to battery from receptacle on circuit board.

5) Remove front screen by pressing a screwdriver against the small metal tags that follow the edge of the screen. The tabs need to be pushed in slightly to allow you to lift the screen out. It may need some leverage, but be careful not to put the screwdriver to far behind the screen as there are a couple of thin cables for the connections.

6) To remove the hard drive you may need to unscrew the vertical black tags about 2 cm long. These simply come away and are grasping the business card size silver box IE the hard drive. The rubber end caps are pressed in, pry out with small screw driver.
7) Remove battery and replace. Note the two sided sticky tape around battery. When putting more tape on, be careful you do not put to much around the right hand end as it will connect with the thin cable when you put it all back together.

9) Reverse assembly. Mine works fine now, good luck. (and so does mine! BLP)
Footnotes: I did not have a Torx #6 screwdriver nor could I buy one locally. I found a #7 mini star bit works just fine. Source: Harbor Freight item # 93316, 6 piece Mini Star Bit Set - $3 PMVN - 9/19/2009
I am not advertising but Batteryship.com included with the battery #5 & #6 torx screwdrivers, a very small philips (star), a straight screwdriver and a plastic pry tool. Whatever I paid more than another place it was worth it.

When disassembling do not remove the battery clip. Just pop out the battery from the front (experienced having to reassemble that whole thing). Also having a set of tweezers to put the electrical connections back together helped a bunch. Not sure if this will help but they may be close designs

I was told I need a new rear barring and axle seal how do I change it?

You have to pull the cover off the rear end and let the fluid drain. Then there is a single small bolt that holds a pin in for the spider gears. You must remove the bolt, pin and spider gears. Then take the wheel and brake drum off the side you want to change. Once thats off you can push the axle in and a clip should fall off the axle inside the carrier. Then you can pull the axle out exposing the seal and bearing you need to change. Just use a seal pulling tool to pull the old seal out and the bearing is under that. It is pressed in so it can be hard to get out. Lots of times they have to be cut out. To put the new bearing back in just use a hammer and socket that is close to the size of the outter edge of the bearing. If you put the bearing in the freezer overnight it will go in a lot easier. Then tap a new seal in and put everything back together and refill the rear end with GL5 put the posi additive in if you have a posi trac rear end. Hope this helps good luck.

Thermador Built-in Oven Model SMW272

usually this is because you have the connecter on the touch pad off by a pin or not seated well. sometimes all it takes is taking the front touch panel off, re seating the connectors, and putting it back together. these thermadores are very sensitive to it for some reason. if all else fails, take all of the small multi pin wire connectors off one by one and re seat them. it should take care of the problem if it wasnt there before you started. good luck!
