Hi there I have a F & P clothes dryer that when u turn the power on from the wall it sreams a high pitched alarm which comes for the digital control panel at the front. I vacummed some of the dust around the main power supply at the back and it worked - but as soon as I put the unit back together it went back to the alarm sounding. any thoughts would be greatly appreciated :) Cheers Craig :)
The control panel may have moisture build up. We directed a fan at the dryer for awhile and this seemed to fix the problem.

Go back to the last thing that changed..."as soon as I put the unit back together"...what item may have pinched a wire during re-assembly....not saying it wasn't pinched before you started. I am saying there is a possibility of a wire pinched to chassis...an electrical short.
