first, make sure you the paper correctly to avoid paper jam.
Single Sheets
1.
Open the paper support and raise the extension.
2.
Place your paper short edge first against the right edge of the feeder, under the tab, with the printable (whiter or glossier) side up. If you are loading multiple sheets, fan the stack of paper before loading it to prevent paper jams.
Note: Don’t load paper above the arrow mark inside the left edge guide. Some special papers can be loaded only one sheet at a time.
Slide the left edge guide against the paper. Make sure it is snug, but not so tight that the paper is bent. (For letter- or A4-size paper, you may not need to move the edge guide over.)
4.
Open the output tray and pull out the extension.
You should also follow these guidelines:
•
Always load the short edge first, even when you’re printing landscape-oriented pictures.
•
When using special papers, check the paper package for additional instructions. Some papers require using a support sheet included in the package.
Note: Always keep unused paper in the original package and store it flat to prevent curling.
if you loaded the paper, it jammed again, remove the paper and tried to print, still the same, its a hardware issue, alraedy, the printers roller is broken
SOURCE: The paper jams when I try to print. How do I load
Hello there
You may not see a paper jam.
This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you.
Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.
First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.
If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.
And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.
Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

Also clean The purge unit, called a spittoon assembly in an HP, Lexmark, Caonon and other inkjet printers, is where the print head assembly parks when not in use, also its other job is to clean and make sure the print head is clean and open for printing.
That is where you'll find the print head assembly parked on top of it.
It also has an electrical pump to milk the print heads and test for ink flow.
So clean all under where the heads are parked and on IP6600D models you can take out the heads just by clipping them out, and then clean well.
