SOURCE: HP LaserJet P2015n Printer IP adress

To Me it looks like your printer is set to automatically select an available IP address. If there is no IP available you get the 0:0:0:0 You need a static IP set up for the printer, this will make sure that no one can use the IP. If this is a company printer, get IT to set it up for you. If its your home network you can set this by yourself by either connecting your printer via usb and using the software from HP or if you have an IP you can log into your PC by entering the IP address in the address bar of your browser. You should get the HP page up for your printer. Set the IP from there in the networking section. I hope this helps a little

SOURCE: HP LaserJet 3055 scan over network.

Hi,
If you have installed the printer using Add printer and faxes then you have just install the printer drivers which will allow you to print over the network.
However if you want to scan over the network than you have to install the complete software of the printer .
If you do not have Software CD than you can download and install the software fom Link below.

1022n print config is showing IP as 0.0.0.0 set in manual. Cold reset does not go back to factory default. Cannot manage/connect using the default web ip

I had the same problem with this printer. I tried cold resets and flashing the firmware on the printer and still came up with an IP of 0.0.0.0 and the printer still set to manual. Here's what worked for me.

When flashing the firmware the first time, I only had the usb connection from the computer to the printer. After a few other attempts, I tried flashing with the usb cable connected AND the network cable connected from the printer to the wall port. After this the configuration page gave me DHCP and a brand new IP Address.

Here is a working link to the firmware for Windows.
So just simply have the network cable connected while flashing the firmware on the printer, hope this helps.

Hi, I rested my HP 1022n Printer, now with old IP address its not printing, how can get my printer new IP address ? and please tell me how can take Test report of same printer, i tried pressing Green(go)...

Every network printer or print server has a unique IP address associated with it. This address is either configured manually or set using an automatic network protocol such as the boot protocol, reverse address resolution protocol or zeroconf. You can normally find the IP address of a printer on the printer's control panel or by printing the configuration page. Select the printers and faxes tab from the control panel. Right click on the printer those you want to find the IP address and click properties. Then click on the ports tab to display the IP address of your printer.

Documents not printing

Hi How to check the print server is in the wireless network or not!! Check under the Router Setup page Router's ip address... Check if you are able to ping the Print Server Ip address....Since it the router will assign a ip address from DHCP range.. If you are able to ping the router's ip address and the print server ip address then the print server is in the Wireless LAN... Try the following steps. 1. Go to run and type "cmd" press enter 2. type ipconfig. 3. Check the range of ip address...if its 192.168.0.XX 4. Try pinging that ip address.. 5. If able to ping the router and print server.. Then the wireless network is fine... Somehow some of the printer's don't work with some of the print servers.. Check if D-link does support the printer or not!!!! for this particular model of the router...
