41.3 unexpected size in tray
Thank you for contacting FixYa with your printer Inquiry.
41.3 Unexpected Paper Size
The printer detected a paper size different than what it was expecting.
This is typically caused if two or more sheets stick together in the printer, or if the paper tray is not properly adjusted.
Reload the tray with the correct paper size.
Ensure that paper in the tray is loaded under the front and back tabs.
When printing from tray 1, verify that the correct paper size is selected in the control panel (see the Paper Handling Menu section in the User Guide ).
When printing from tray 2, 3, or 4, verify that the three paper size adjustments on the paper tray have been made correctly (see the description of adjustments in the section on Loading Trays 2, 3, and 4 in the User Guide ).
After performing the actions above, press GO. The page containing the error will automatically be reprinted if jam recovery is enabled. Or, press CANCEL JOB to clear the print job from the printer's memory.
Hope this helps. Please keep us updated and remember to rate this answer.
HOW DO I MAKE A
You cannot make a copy if you are thinking of it like a photocopier. It doesn't have a scanner built into it .
If this is what you are thinking there are several quite excellent scanners out there fairly cheap. The scanner will come with software that will make it and the printer behave like a photocopier. The scanner we use at home even has a button that we just press to scan and print a copy as well as software that gives more options.
If you want to just print multiple copies of the page then this you can do. You just have to go to print options on a program menu and tell it to print the page how many times you need. You can also change the number on the printer driver but if you don;t set it back after everything after is going to print a few extra copies.
Hp laserjet 5200 the attention
This can be a number of reasons however I would be looking for a piece of paper jammed in the printer somewhere. Is the printer giving an error message or code?
If you turn the printer off, disconnect the printer cable, wait 5 minutes & then turn the printer back on, does it then power up & go to ready?
Standard top bin full remove paper
Hi there is seems that the machine thinks there is too much paper at the paper printout exit. If there are printouts on the top of the printer remove them and the printer will start printing or the error message will go away. If there is nothing on top of the printer then where the paper comes out after it has printed you will see a black plastic lever type it is more likely to be in the up position without breaking it if it hasn't already been broken move it so it is in the down position it is on a hinge so be careful and it should sit at an angle. Once this has been done the printer will reset the message itself.
Hope this is help you oh if the arm is broken it will need replacing (just the arm)
Printer says 41.3 unexpected size in tray 2. How
A couple of things to check.
1) Make sure the paper guides in the tray are adjusted correctly for width and in particular the length.
2) Remove the tray completely check guides.
3) Make sure the tray is fully seated into the printer.
4) Make sure the paper in the tray matches the size of the guides.
If the guides and paper seem OK, the printer may need servicing by authorized service center.

Hp 2420 prints a ''job storage status page'' after each print job
If you have your software driver or print job set to save your print jobs to the printer and your printer does not support this, you will get that error and status page. Here is what the User's manual says about print job storage:
"The printer supports two distinct job-storage features that you can use to initiate printing from the printer control panel after the print job is sent from the computer:
● Proof and hold jobs
● Private jobs
Make sure that you identify your jobs in the printer driver before printing. Using default names might override previous jobs that have the same default name or cause the job to be deleted.
The job-storage features require 48 MB of RAM. For printer models that have less than 48 MB of RAM, you can add memory so that they can support the features."

This is a Fan issue you have 2 of them one on the front right side and one on the left. if you remove both covers see which one is not working
Now if their are both working then you will need to replace the ECU (Engine Control Unit).
I've attached a link that shows you how to remove the covers off the 2420 it's a pdf file .
And the Left side cover will need to be removed to access the other fan.
Close top cover
Start by trying this.
Open the cover and look around for openings in the where the cover closes. In those openings there are interlock switches. 1 of 2 things have happened.
1, The switch may have become dislodged.
2. Look on the cover you have opened for actuators, ( pieces of plastic sticking out) that would go into those holes to turn the switch on when closed. Those often break off.
One of those 2 items is your problem, The switch is just not being actuated properly.
Make sure nothing is binding the cover also.

I had this error too, i had 32 MB ram in the printer i took it out and put in a 64 MB chip in and the error went away.
