Hello,

Check the paper feed roller, it's posible to be worn. If it's worn out, you need to change it.
In know a trick than can help you temporarily, clean the roller with windscreen cleaning solution and a rag. (i make same trick with my copiers, and it's working)

All the best !

1. Turn the printer off and open the access cover.
2. Look for any obstructions in the paper path and remove them if necessary. (It is possible to move the carrier assembly with the power off.)
3. Turn the printer on, load some paper, and press the Form Feed button.
4. Watch the paper as it feeds through and try to determine where the jam is occurring.
5. Check to see if all the rollers are turning.

If all the rollers are turning, there may be something in the feed path that you can't see. Go to step 6.
If not, there is probably a feed motor or a gear problem and the printer may require service.
6. If the paper is jamming under the carrier assembly, you may be able to fix it using the manual feed slot.
7. Turn the printer off.
8. Take a #10 envelope and feed it through the left side of the manual feed slot until it comes right through the printer to the back of the exit rollers.
9. Move it up and down first, and then slowly move it over to the right side. If something is stuck under the black guide plate, this may work it loose.

Hi! Have you checked the correct source for paper feed? you can use either sheet fed paper tray at base of printer and from top loose sheet feed. Make sure selection is correct, button below/to right of pwere switch.
Hope this sorts it, it did this on mine.

SOURCE: Error code C380 paper feed failure

c380 indicates auto-toner error for black developer (K).

Check following:

Is the harness between the LGC board and the developer unit drawer connector open-circuited?
Is any harness inside the developer unit or the auto-toner sensor harness open-circuited?
Is the auto-toner sensor connector or the connector CN341 on the LGC board disconnected?

IF connector no problems, then u probably need to replace the auto toner sensor.

SOURCE: canon pc 420 paper feeds only part way

I had the same problem. I found a parts diagram here http://techno-parts.org/canon/220/320_220.php which showed that the springs hold the bar down. On mine, on each side, one of the spring tabs was broken.

I made a metal pin for one side and insert a screw on the other. Be sure and wrap the spring over the nylon bushing.

SOURCE: Paper wont feed into printer no paper jam

In the comments section Blumm suggests pushing a piece of cardboard (like the back of a legal pad) through the feeder as far as you can. Turn the printer off and then on again with it in there. Pull the cardboard out and check for any foreign objects that have been pushed through.
It worked for many people including myself - I got a piece of plastic and it works wonderfully again!

Canon k420 copier

In some cases, not all; the paper feed rollers get dry and slick. If so they tend to feed at times and sometimes stop halfway at times. Look at your rollers.

Paper jam

You're not giving me alot to go on for your trouble. Your're not telling me where the paper is stopping at. There are several problems you could be having. If the copier is feeding from the top cassette and jamming or even not feeding at all then the feed rollers could be the blame. This could be the reason for the lower casette jamming. If the paper is stopping in the fuser then there could be damage or no rotation of the fuser rollers. This should give you an E007 error code. Then the fuser must be rebuilt or replaced. Hope this gets you started. Good luck.

The printer will not feed the paper into the machine

Hmm, this is too general symptom too troubleshoot. But never mind. Printer cannot feed the paper for several reasons:
Auto sheet feeder (paper feeding mechanisme) is faulty;usually generate error message on the monitor or/and error code on LCD display
Paper end did not reach paper sensor because the paper not set properly or another material block the paper path.

Paper feeds halfway through and then 'Jams'

you have something stuck down in your paper path, if you feed a hard piece of plastic down the paper path manually and gently you will feel something is there, a very common problem

Paper Jams

Depends where the paper is stopping. The fact it is feeding suggests that a sensor isn't stuck, most likely worn out feed, pickup and seperation rollers.
