Error LCD: System Error EXXX (MF4400/MF4500/D500 Series)
Description:
A system error has occurred. <XXX> will be a three-digit code that indicates a particular type of error.
Action:
Turn OFF the main power switch, wait for more than 5 seconds, then turn it ON again. If the message persists, turn OFF the main power switch, disconnect the power cord, and contact Canon Customer Care Center.
There is a communication error between the machine and one of the accessories.
Turn the copier off, disconnect all accessories (sorter, feeder) and try again.
You may want to reconnect them one at a time to see which one is bad.
The
8 error code just means that the ink absorber is full and needs to be
replaced. Power cycling will not help this problem. You need to
replace the absorber and reset the counter
E711 on the NP6230 points to a DC controller fault. Unless you can get the part literally free, it's not worth replacing - something else could be damaged along with the DC controller and you will not know until you've replaced it. Walk away
...error code E711...mainboard malfunction...error in the mainboard...and see also the power supply mainboard...and check if the output voltage that came out from is working fine...to do this you must have a multitester to check the voltage...
E020 try by push reset button until show $ upper left
then press key *4* and you will in service mode.
find code error 1 in LCD then press *
copier will restart.
what mode is it stuck in ? does it say warming up ? if yes, then the problem is w/ the fuser ( exit where it gets hot) there is a temperature regulator ( thermister) it may be going bad.
Get into service mode by pressing.....
additional functions key (*) key and then...
ID(#) key...
Scroll down to PRINTER then press OK
Scroll down to PRINTER RESET
then indicate YES(*)
If E000 through E004 is indicated, the RAM on the image processor will
retain the error memory of the fixing assembly after the power switch has
been turned off an then on. Execute the following in service mode, and
turn off and then on the power switch to clear the memory: #7
PRINTER>#4 PRINTER RESET>YES=(*).
Any problems please get back to me
