To replace the Canon GPR-11 black drum, do you just take the old one out and put the new one in? That is what we did and there is a band of black toner printing on the top of each sheet.

The new toner cartridge snap's into the top of the Hopper > just look on the box on how to install it. Once you have pulled the tab till you can read "STOP" push the slid back in and release the toner cartridge and you are done...... Put the empty cartridge into the "G" file

Canon IR400 print copy to black print

Most likely it's time to replace the drum unit. Mfr Part #: Canon 1342A003AA, GPR-2, F43-6701-700. Those drum units only last 55,000 copies and then the copy quality starts to degrade.

E000019-0000 is coming. hw to solve that problem.

Hello tannan,
E19 means the waste toner bottle is full. This bottle gets filled as not all of the image that you see on your copies/prints actually made it to the page and must be cleaned off so the next image is clean, The waste toner bottle on your machine can't be reached as it is built into the drum unit. The drum unit just about the EVERTHING of the image development of the machine. The drum unit must be replaced. It is easy and not real expensive. The part number is "0385B003BA". It's called a GPR-18 drum unit. You will have to either call Canon or look on the net. Now, you "could" remove the old drum unit and vacuum the old waste toner out as there is I believe a clear cap on the drum unit that can be removed for this purpose. I'd go for replacing the drum as usually when the waste toner bottle is full the drum is at its end of life. I hope this helps you my friend. Take care SPINAL

When is about to print it write error code of "E000020-04b0 ' and tells me to consult. the name of my canon photocopy is irc3200n thank you

Hello Ben,
That code means the black drum unit has run as long as it can and MUST be replaced. There is no counter that can be reset that will help, as this code means that because of the age of the black drum, when the copier goes to verify that it can calibrate itself to meet the targets it knows it must meet...........for black it cannot. You have to replace the black drum cartridge. Fortunately this is an extremely simple process. By merely removing the old drum you will be able to install the new one. Just open the front cover,lower/release the large blue handle located at the center, then turn the handle in font of it to open the drum area. The black drum is located directly below the black tone assembly that you have always replaced. Just pull the black dum unit out. The new drum unit will have a protective cover on it's bottom. This cover serves 2 functions, to protect the drum and to help "locate" the proper loading point and angle. I bet you will have no problem putting in the new drum without the protective bottom cover , Just insert the drum the way the old one came out. Be mindful that it shuold be inserted straight, not angled in any way. The copier will "see " the new drum and take care of itself. I hope this helps "FIXYA". Have a Happy New Year!!!

Black bande IR 3300

Most probably you need to replace the drum unit. If you have any idea what was the copy count when the drum was last replaced and since then around 50000 prints are done, new drum is needed.

Locating waste toner bottle canon image runner 1300

the waste toner is the unit where the drum is attached to. it actually has a hole to clear it up but i recommend you to remove the drum, the charger roller, the cleaning blade and carefully vaccum the unit. you gotta vaccum the corners, gears, everything. then put the piece together and give it a try. if it doesnt work go to your closest canon retailer an buy a new drum unit: GPR-10 Drum Unit.
