Lexmark aal in one?

Try to use the Lexmark All-In-One Center Application on your computer to adjust the darkness of your prints. On your computer, click on Start > Prorgrams > Lexmark 2600 Series folder > select All-In-One Center. From the Copy tab, select "darken" copies.
For printing, Normal or Best mode in the Print Setup properties before sending the print job to the printer for printing.

Even though the Mode is on Copy on the Printer it would still print if you send a Job from the Computer!

It sounds like the firmware (built in software) is corrupted. You should contact Lexmark on the web or phone.

please just you scan the object to resuleasion in and dp is 600 to 12oo select and you scane object and aply print is dark is ok.

The Vista drivers available on the Lexmark website do not contain the All-In-One Center. They are minimum drivers. Although the scan drivers are shipped with the web package, they cannot be used by the All-In-One Center since it is not included. Please use Windows Scanners and Cameras or Photo Gallery for Scanning.

I HAD TROUBLE WITH PRINTING FROM A SCAN, SO I SAVED THE SCAN AND THEN PRINTED IT. I ALSO HAD TROUBLE WITH IT NOT PRINTING, SO I HAVE TO GO TO COPY 1 AND THEN PRINT. I DO NOT KNOW WHY IT DID THIS, FOR IT WORKED VERY WELL AT FIRST. I DO STILL ;LIKE LEXMARK BRAND,

Does scanning work when initiated from the computer using either the "Imaging Studio" or "Productivity Studio" software that came with the printer ?.

I have the same issues with a Lexmark printer, Lexmark printers are not very user friendly with Vista. What I did is create a dual boot with XP and installed the software for the printer there. If interested in that follow these instructions or contact lexmark support.

I believe you have to push the scan button in order for it to scan and save. The copy buttons will only print either a black copy or a color copy.
