1. Unplug the Canon MP610.
2. Click on the Start Menu, then Control Panel. Open the Printers, or Devices and Printers control panel. Find your Canon MP610 printer and Delete or Remove the device by Right Clicking on the device and selecting Delete or Remove.
3. Restart the PC.
4. When in Windows, plug your Canon MP610 in and wait for device installation to complete, or reinstall the CD drivers.
5. Try printing a test page.

I can print to my cannon mp610 using my bluetooth connection, but cannot scan using it. Any ideas?

Open the paper output tray (the big door with Canon on it). Look inside and you'll see a tray door with a half circle cut out to put your finger in to pull it down. Put a CD/DVD in the holder and slide it into the slot noting the direction arrow. Open the CD printing software and pictures guide you through the process. Dead easy when you know where to look. I gave up and rang Canon support who were quick and excellent 00800 22 666 767 (free) or 0844 369 0100.

It is a tedious process but it works.

This is an easy fix by creating your own template....choose program "cd-labelprint" >> file >> select paper >> new >> (select a name to save as) (select diameter sizes etc) >> OK.
