Try to check and observe plastic gear may some of them broke or worn-out, of course scanning not work if error indicated on the machine. This occurs mostly on all in one printer scanner machine.

My printer say "printing" but wont print. its stuck and the gears sound like their stuck. please help

Try turning the printer off and then back on. If that doesn't work, it sounds like you will have to get into the printer itself and see what's going on...

Hi. I cant get my printer to allign. I've just replaced the black ink cartridge and when i put the allignment page inside the scanner it wont scan

Did you try to align the unit manually or with the computer?

Alignment page does not print

1 Make sure you remove the sticker and transparent tape from both print

cartridges.

2 Make sure the color print cartridge is secure in the left carrier and the black

print cartridge is secure in the right carrier.
3 Make sure you loaded the paper correctly and did not force the paper into
the printer.

Aligning your print cartridges without a computer

Make sure you follow the steps on the Setup sheet to complete hardware

installation. Continue with the following steps to optimize print quality.

1 Make sure you have loaded paper into the paper support, and then press

and hold Scan for three seconds. For help, see "Using the control panel"

on page 4.

An alignment page prints.

2 Place the printed alignment page onto the scanner glass.

3 Press Scan. For help, see "Using the control panel" on page 4.

Once scanning is complete, your print cartridges are aligned for optimal
print quality.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response.

Thanks, Joe

I've changed the ink cartridge in my epsom printer but it wont print, what can i do

If you haven't printed a lot lately, your print head might clogged. Here's what you can do: go to "print", then "properties", then "maintenance", and find the option "head cleaning". You will hear strange sounds coming from inside your printer, nothing to worry about, the printer is just trying to push the ink through the print head. In the end, the printer will print 4 colors: black, yellow, magenta and cyan. If the colors seem ok to you, you have fixed your problem. If not, repeat the process several times (just bear in mind that cleaning the head uses a lot of ink).
Hope that helps, and if it doesn't, please let me know, would love to help find a solution to your problem!

Printer wont scan

Hi,

Remove the jammed paper. Unplug the printer from the mains and PC. Inspect the rollers, etc for tiny paper piece(s) that may be stuck, or other debris. Try to clean rollers and make sure they are dry. Keep printer unplugged for about 2 minutes and replug and try a test print. Also make sure that you have waited long enough for the printer to heat up before giving a print job. Finally, it could be an issue with the paper sensor. If this is the case, you will probably have to take the printer in for servicing..

Problem printing with Lexmark X1270

Are you using firewall software? It sounds strange, but for some reason the computer can't talk to the printer unless you "Allow" access to the printer software. Try to reset your firewall software so it will prompt you again and make sure you choose "Always Allow".

Test page and scanner

Hey satz, Take that test page, and put it into scanner, (Printed area will be on mirror side) then press scan button "Bottom left side of your printer". After stopping the fluctuation of light you will never face that problem. This error appears when you turn out the cartridge from your printer. sanjeev [email protected]
