If you have lost/misplaced the installation disk, you can download and install the drivers and software from the Lexmark X2250 support website by clicking this link

On the page which opens, click the "Complete drivers and software for setting up, configuring, and using your device with Windows 32-bit" link to open the download window. Then click the 'Download' button to start the download process.

If your computer has a different operating system, click the "[Change OS]" link and select the correct operating system. [Microsoft Windows Vista/others....]

Sometimes the drivers aren't automatically updated or loaded when you install new hard drives. What I suggest is you download the sound drivers again for you Toshiba Satellite A135-S2276 laptop. Click here for the link to download site. All you have to do is enter your Operating System ( e.g. Windows 7, Vista, XP ) and you will click on the sound driver and download it.

The disk will not solve the problem you need the latest and updated .sys files to install the correct driver and that will communicate the printer with your pc. here is the link you can download the then install that will take care of the issue.

If you do not have the disk you must download the software from Internet, follow instructions below,

A web page will open, follow instructions, select model, select operative system etc., and click on download .
Chose to download the file in my documents when asked.
After downloading, find the file,double click on the file ,then if you get in troubles, follow the instructions below to reset and reinstall drivers:

• Unplug printer USB.
• Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
• Download driver from website, or use the disk and run the install file.
  
• Follow driver installation wizard.
• Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.

Note:some printerdoes not work on Vista, if you do not find any driver download for Vista on your model page, that means your model is not Vista compatible.

You stated that you just got a new computer and are trying to hook up your old printer to it. Use the control panel printer install along with the new downloaded driver.Whee asked where the driver is, just let it know where you placed it. I would first uninstall the printer .

is your printer getting detected when you connect the usb cable to the pc.

1)right click the my computer icon
2)click properties and then click hardware n go to device manager.
3)uninstall all usb ports and then scan for hardware changes
4)ur pc will detect your printer and ask for printer drivers
5)re load drivers and your pc will communicate with your printer
6)for reloding install the cd follow the instructions on the screen and click next
7)restart when the printer is loded.connect the wires and cords properly.
