This maybe the spring in the door has fallen off is the latch head very loose in the door if it is it maybe the hook on the bottom of the latch head has broken off, to get to the latch you need to pry the inner door trim off as u do this you will need to lift the the latch head up the trim is only cliped in so if you start in between the 2 hooks of the latch then work your way round the door you should be ok when you are inside the latch then have a look and see if the spring is still in place and not fallen off or loose if it has fallen off look at the bottom of the latch you should see a small hook at the end if this is miss then you need the latch please unplug the unit before you undertake any work on an appliance hope this helps
