Panasonic Microwave Dimension 4 convection (11 yrs old)

Thanks in advance. My microwave is only operating on DEMO mode. We tried to change the clock for daylight savings and it went into DEMO. Can't seem to figure out how to change this. The unit is built-in so I don't want to take it out and unplug if I don't have to.

You need to press clock 3 times, then start 3 times and then clear/reset 3 times. Then you can reset the clock by pressing clock 1 change the time and press clock again.

Pressing Function 0 1 turns on demo mode, and Function 0 2 turns it off. Function 5 1 turns on the child lock, and Function 5 2 unlocks it. You can download a copy of your owner's manual here: http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/NNT888S.PDF If you do not have the Acrobat Reader on your computer, you can download it free here: www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html Others reading this who have a different model can try substituting their own model number for the "NNT888S" above, and try it with and without the model suffix ("B" in this case). Or just visit http://service.us.panasonic.com/OperMan/

Just looking at reviews for Panasonic genius dimension 4 microwaves. It would be my third one since 1984 (changed in 1996 and 2010). They have never broken down. I had to give them away to buy a newer model because I was renovating. A true and incredible product. Store clerks tell me it's the best convestion microwave on the market...Too bad they do not have built-ins.

My Panasonic Microwave Dimension 4 Convection is showing FFFF in the time display when I try to use it. What does this mean?

https://www.manualslib.com/manual/652153/Panasonic-Dimension4-Nn-C988w.html

FFFF is not mentioned in the user manual, but there may be some helpful information or contact information in it.

This is not certain, but it may be a part that is expensive to replace according to this other web site for a similar model Panasonic oven. That person said their microwave was still working.

I went to use it today and when I entered to nuk my coffee a FFFF display appeared where the clock normally appears. I went and found my operating instruction booklet and it indicated to "stop/reset" which I did. Next it indicates to contact a Panasonic Servicecenter. Can you help me out? ps. FFFF means that your display control board has an internal short. The only way to fix the problem is to replace the display control board which is no longer available. If you really wanted to fix the microwave you'd need to remove the display board and mail it to a place like Appliancetimers.com to have the part refurbished. The cost to have the part repaired is usually about $200-250 or so.

Model NN 9804 U microwave in Demo Mode

No owner's manual?

If you're in the US, find it here.

If you're not in the US, see Panasonic.net and look for support / download links.

Otherwise, I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for about 5 minutes.

The microwave works for only 8-9 seconds, then stops

It may be in demo mode.  On some units if you hit the timer/clock button 4 times to turn demo off.

Stuck in Demo mode

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for maybe an hour.

If that doesn't work, check the owner's manual.

You should be able to download your Panasonic owner's manual here.
