Canon iR5000 Tray 3 problem

hi . have you tried to put the paper in a different position ( LTR >>LTR-R)

Go to Printers and Faxes, right click on the printer icon and select Printer Properties.
then select the paper type as LTR.
If in case you do not get the option, re-install the printer drivers.

Click Start, Devices and Printers. Right click on the printer and select properties. Change the paper settings for each tray.

Verify the cassette /paper tray sensor actuator and paper tray motors.

I would look to make sure the paper tray's are set correctly in the paper trays... There is a knob that moves at will.... just kidding... Make sure that when you press on the diplay for paper size's, that if it shows LTR make sure the paper is in the tray going the short way.. LTR or you may have the paper tray set for LTR-R and you have the paper in the tray as LTR. I believe that the paper trays are set wrong. You may have figured it out already.. Good Luck

Looks like the print job wanted letter sized paper in the tray.

Tray 1 load ltr WHAT DOES THIS MEAN

Pull tray out that latch one is attatched to, then reinsert firmly. Now try to put latch one back into original position. All better now?

It sounds like either a clutch or feed roller is not firing. It is not a switch cause that would affect all trays.

hi im jules_09.have you set the paper size first before copying.there is nothing wrong with adf its fine.if you want to use fls go to the program then set the size of the paper and which tray you are going to use each paper tray can be adjusted according to your paper size needs
