My Canon TS5050 inkjet printer will NOT print black documents. i dont think its a software problem because the default set printer will NOT print a proper Head Nozzle pattern (done by Printer itself)- the PGBK print pattern - only the colours which are good an the other black which is a little feint. I have taken out and cleaned the print head, changed cartridges, cleaned printhead, tested changed print head for new and changed cartridges again and it still will NOT print Black and white documents. Iv noticed that there was a small ink mess on the right hand side of the printer where 2 small foam pads are situated and there was ink around that area as if the head is leaking when parked there. Please help? regards, Mark
Remove your printer from the PC and uninstall the printer software. Now reinstall the printer software and connect the Printer to be detected and installed. Check printer properties to see the ink levels.
Use head cleaning before a test is taken . It is possible that the head is not reacting to the need of the command , can be an issue with ink drying , can also be poor ink cartridge contacts
