Black ink will NOT work! NEW cartridge!!!

I replaced ALL of the ink cartridges with NEW ones, and the black will not work at all? Red works the least,( one complete line with one dash on the second line? ) yellow is moderate ( gives four lines interupted? ), and blue will give full lines in the test sample ( no dashes missing? ) Also, screen indicates that yellow is low and black is low also! Tried multiple times to clean with the clean mode??? Anything else I can do? Or should I just pitch the machine and be out my $85.00???????????? Please help??????

Your print head is already clog, if you can find chemical solution in your area, you can try to soak it without removing the print-head, on its parking put some solution then let it be there for 24 hrs then try printing,do this for three days if nothing happens, buy a new printer, because buying a print head is not practical, it almost cost the same as a new one.

Black ink will not print

Have you tried setting the color to black cartridge only. You may be printing the black with a combination of colored inks. I occasionally have a similar problem. Sometimes I can get the black to work by taking a paper towel dampened with distilled water and holding it against the cartridge print head until I see black ink coming out. Replace the cartridge and try printing again. If this doesn't work try a new cartridge and run through your Printer Settings, making sure they are all set properly.

I just replaced my black ink and it is not working it is saying that unsupported cartridge.

Make sure you are inserting a genuine Lexmark cartridge. Try to insert a different known working cartridge, maybe your old black cartridge, to determine if your new cartridge is faulty. If inserting your old black cartridge gives you a message saying "very low ink" or something to that effect, then most probably there's something wrong with the new black cartridge. Have it replaced with a new one from the store where you bought it from. You may also contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for assistance.

1. Replaced Color and Black ink cartidges on my HP D5160: Color cartridge - NEW Black cartridge - REFILL SYMPTOMS> Red flashing exclaimation LED, black ink cartridge appears empty (0 dots in the...

Black printer ink in HP Printer may fail to be recognized by the printer. Most times an error message will be sent indicating that something is wrong with the black print cartridge. Sometimes the printer may accept to print with the black ink, but the printouts may have horizontal lines and very illegible letters. In such a case a manual cleaning of the print head should be carried out. In doing the manual cleaning, one should spray Windex heavily on paper towel and wipe off the surface of the print head.

My black ink wont work.

refill of cartridge several times is not that advisable. time comes that ur cartridge will be damaged. possibility of damaged:
1. the circuit itself in the cartridge might be broken
2. overload of ink.

recommendation:
1. replace a new one or secure other cartridge w/ same spec of ur current cartridge.

Dell printer model# A940 50c error

Test your cartridges.

Remove the color ink cartridge then lower the cover of your printer. If the error message displays again, replace the black cartridge with a new one (or return the new one). Reinstall the color cartridge and remove the black ink cartridge then lower the cover. If the error message displays again, replace the color cartridge with a new color cartridge.
Note: My manual indicated that the printer might have detected a short circuit in a cartridge. I returned a month old black cartridge got a new one and my printer is working fine now. Good luck.

HP 932 RED LIGHT STAYS ON

The light you describe is the ink light.
When that light is blinking, try this.

Turn on the printer. Open the front cover and look at the carrier for the ink cartridges. There is a white arrow right above the latch for the color cartridge.
Once the carrier stops moving, the white arrow should be pointing to a symbol which represents the problem (the reason the light is blinking.) Examples are low ink black, low ink color, sick black ( replace ) , sick color ( replace ).

IF you have just replaced your black cartridge, you might need to replace your color cartridge too.
This printer will not work without both ink cartridges installed and full.
You cant print with a full black and an empty color cartridge unfortunately, even if you only want to print black.

Hope this helps!

Not printing after color cartridge ran out - new black cartridge installed.

Yes, this printer has fixed printheads and must have ink in each color to prevent damage to the printheads. Even when printing black only each color is spit in the servicing area to keep the printhead unclogged.

Big black cartridge not printing

Try replacing your printer ink cartridges with a new one.Chances are you have bought a defective cartridge. If that does not work, pls try to check the slot for your black ink for obstructions, then replace your black ink cartridge.
