Canon i475D Have error message 807.  Is that something that can be easily fixed or should I throw it away. Kaycee

Good luck. Canon is not help. I have cleaned these and the reset that you can only get online through a third party usually do not work and Canon will not give these out. Basically it is a throw away item. Messy trying to clean them only to not being able to reset the error.

I have the same problem & it's driving me nuts! Can anyone help with this or is it a throw away job?

Hi,

This is basically ink tank error.

You have to reset ink tank

1.Turn off printer

2. Hold down Resume button and press Power button.

3. Keep holding down Power button and let Resume button go.

4. Press Resume button 2 times then let BOTH buttons go.

5. Green lights will flash and then stop blinking.

6. When green lights are solid, press the Resume button 4 times.

7. Press the Power button and the printer should turn off, if not, press the Power button once more.

8. Your printer should respond as normal.

the error message means there is something wrong with the printer and if the problem is not attended to, the error message will not go away.

In this case, the error message showing on your canon ip4300 is related to a door problem. It has something to do with the front door of your printer. I think the front door of your printer is closed of which is supposed to be opened.

So, the solution is to Open the paper output tray of your printer and the problem should be solved.

Throw away the refilled cartridges. Using original cartridges is the wise solution.

the error you have is a carriage error it is more for the canon techs that eror code not usually a customer error code,
it probably not worth fixing if its not somethig simple like a dirty timing **** then throw it away cost you more than what the printer is worth.
