Try setting your carb, you will see three holes at the side of the machine nr to the fuel cap. the one at the bottom screw it in as far as it will go then unscrew it 4 turns, the one above it do the same again but unscrew it one and a half turns, if this dont work its possible draging air in from somwere ie, crank seals, inpluse pipe, gaskets. it will need to be presure tested.

I had this problem today 21-6 with this same TS410 and yes indeed my experience was there was a piston ring broken the upper and also there where crancshaft seals leaking and great slack on the bearings a 9 years old ts410, it has its working hours on it but there was also a groove in a flush port in the cylinder. the man Tony Tiler knows it also today i would search of anybody with the same problem i have found today. but the best thing is not to adjust on the carburetor before test on leaking seals close the air supply to the carburettor so it will must be sucket only fuel to the carter and look if it will come out the hole from the sparkplug after a while pulling the starter thats the best option and after pull out the fuel surplus by the muffler hold down to the ground, if that is not happens that you get a fuel surplus in a short time then you have the problem fast for shure allways asked " are there original fuel hoses used " ? porous rubber can also happens.

Stihl saw cuts out when machine is tilted forward on ts410 anybody else have this problem

Fuel pick up will be your problem. Buy new fuel filter and fuel line from in tank to carby. Most likely a split in the fuel line in-tank

Stihl Ts410 hard to start and erratic running

I've added the breakdown manual for you, have you replaced the fuel and air filters. could be a simple issue of not being able to draw up the fuel from the tank. Stone saws deal with a lot of dust and this seriously effects their running and also their cooling capabilities.

Ts410 stihl saw stopped working

Starting procedure for Stihl.
(cold starting)

Place cutoff saw on floor (flat clear surface).
Hold throttle in, while pushing on switch all the way down.
Hold cutoff saw firmly.
Pull starter handle until saw fires, it should then cut out.
Click the starter switch up 1 click to half choke.
Pull starter handle again until cutoff saw fires up. note: it will be reving because the trigger is loched on, (blip the throttle once) and it should go to tick over.

There should be np need to keep playing with the choke when the saw is warm. No need to lock the trigger when starting warm..

Rebuilt a Stihl TS400 concrete saw, and now it wont cut, the engine dies down and has no power but revs up? Ive tried everything!

All these people are missing a basic thing: check the compression. If you did all thus work yourself, you may have reused the head gasket or not installed the new one correctly. It will run with no load, but once force in exerted, the pressure finds the leak and exploits it. There is a reason 2-cycle engines run at 130-160 psi normally.
