Tub to Pump Hose

If the washer is leaking water the hose from the tub to the pump might be split or torn. Don't try to cut off the bad piece of hose and stretch it to fit the pump, this will put strain on the remainder of the hose and may cause a sudden and complete failure of the hose which will dump potentially hundreds or thousands of gallons of water onto the floor because the next time the washer tries to fill all of the water will end up on the floor and so the washer will never shut off the valve. Any time there is a damaged hose, replace it completely with the OEM part.

Washing Machine Fill Hose

If the washer is leaking water, check the fill hoses on the back of the washer, this is the most common place for water to leak. If the washer still has the original black rubber fill hoses replace them with stainless steel or some other, more durable hose.

Our jacuzzi tub is 20 hrs old and possibly is leaking. About 6 mths ago we remodeled bathroom &replaced all tile around tub & shower. We do not want to tear out tile. What would be best way to pin...

if you have a water stain on the ceiling below your tub then you have a water leak. There is no easy solution for this. You must get to the underside of the tub in order to watch the jets when the tub is full of water to isolate the leak and then have it repaired by a plumber.

There are 4 common possiblities. 1. Hose from tub to pump has a hole in it
2. Water pump is leaking
3. tub seal has gone bad
4. Water fill manifold has a hole in it

1,2,4 is an easy fix
3 requires removal of the inner tub (not an easy job)

Water is leaking from bath tub drain

the most common reason for a drain to leak is that the plumbers putty around the drain where it meets the sink or tub has dried out and has a crack or void in it. Unscrew the drain from inside of the tub and check the plumbers putty. There is an inexpensive drain wrench sold at hardware stores, lowes and home depot that makes this an easy fix.

Whirpool LSQ9200LQ Top Load water leaking on start of pump out

Transmission may be bad. When machinbe goes into very start of spin it should drain the water first and then machine will actually spin; tub should not be spinning. If it is, water cyclones up sides and will come out at tub cover. Only fix is to repl trans or select lower water level if I am correct in the diagnosis.
