No audio from integra receiver - Integra Dtr-7.9 Receiver

Hi,

Please confirm that the remote has power and move closer to the receiver and attempt to use the remote again. If the remote works when you're closer, then this means that your batteries needed to be updated. If the remote does not work even within 1 foot of the receiver, please clean the section of the receiver that receives the remote signal. You can then restart your receiver and attempt to use the remote again. If this fails, then you can attempt to re-program your remote to the receiver once more. Otherwise, you might need to work with Integra to further troubleshoot the possible source of the issue.

You have a short somewhere in the speaker wiring.

Does the vu meter show anything(bars moving up and down when audio is present?If so you may have a blown fuse or bad IC in the amplifier section causing the problem. If there is no indication of audio on the front panel it would be a Microprocessor problem

You will have defective output transistors

You most likely have a power amp problem, disconnect all speakers and see if still does the clicking, if so you have an output amp problem

is it set properly for that input? does it play on the tuner setting? check the connecting cable for breaks..

reset receiver if that does not work You will have a defective processor pcb

Your DTR-7.8 receiver is not 3D compatible. It does not support the new 1.4 HDMI. You have to have 1.4 HDMI and 1.4 cables for the 3D format.

You can bypass your receiver for the video though. Simply run your HDMI cord (1.4) from your Blue Ray to your Projector. Your audio can be ran from your Blue ray to your reciever.

Turns out it had to do with one of the settings for the new Blu-Ray player.
