Ur convergence is dead,U know how to solder Wright?Need to buy a convergence kid,use the parts in that kit.Tries these websites Ebay.com,Tv Repair World.com.

it would appear its shutting down in a protect mode
its possible its a convergence circuit problem or something on the deflection bd
but it most likley will require some assistance from a tech that is used to working on this type of set
if you noticed when it does come on that the colors are all off line then suspect convergence circuit trouble the the green leds tell you what source is still alive there is a chart in the cabinet that will correspond with each source voltage that can lead you to tracking it down if you know what to look for and have the tools to do so

you need to replace the Eeprom location 1004

Resetting the TV
NOTE:
Some TVs have a reset button. If available and accessible, try using the reset buttons before using the steps below. Using the reset buttons can save time.
1. Unplug the TV power cord from the power outlet for 4 - 6 hours.
2. Unplug any connected devices (DVD, Set-top boxes, etc...)
3. Press and hold the TV power button for five seconds.
4. Plug the TV power cord back into the power outlet and turn on the TV.
5. Open the on-screen menu to confirm that the TV is responding again.
6. Turn off the TV and reconnect the devices.
7. Turn on the TV.

sir do a power reseet ,turn off the tv then unplug it from the electrical source then wait for 1 minute then plug it in and turn it on if it doesn't work call sony customer serveice at 1800 222 7669

we have hitachi 51 inc projection tv model 51f59a for 2 yrs. we got problem adjusting the colors the screen is reddish. pls solve this .
