I've got a HPLJ 1320n that is showing a combination of status lights which are not in the user's manual (which leads me to believe this isn't going to be good!). The lights I have are: Toner Light: No Light Attention Light: Solid Amber/Orange Ready Light: Blinking Green Go Button Light: Blinking Green I've done a power cycle several times leaving the printer off a couple mins each time. Once back on, I can't print a test page or clear the lights. I've changed toners twice and I don't see any paper jams. I'm thinking it's something serious as these lights don't appear in the manual. Thanks, MePH

It needs a new formatter.
Whow....
I have the exact same error since last week (June 9th) and of course nothing in the HP manuals or guides has the details about this combination light codes.
Tried HP Support & they want $25 to even talk to me about it.
If anyone finds the meaning of this error, please post here.
HP Support sucks..
I have the same problem just now. Has anyone found a solution?

Usually answered in minutes!
I don't get a secondary error code from pressing the Go button. I have tried leaving it unplugged for 5+ mins. I have noticed that I get these error lights pretty much as soon as the unit is turned on. It doesn't go through it's system check/warm up.
I've tried a settings reset (holding down Go button and turning unit on for atleast five secs but no longer then 15 secs) and an NVRAM reset (holding down the Go button and turning unit on for atleast 20 seconds), neither seem to do anything.
Thanks,
MePH
waynechurch,
If you could email the manual, that would be helpful ... mephitic at gmail dot com
Haven't really checked the fuser yet, I'm leaning towards formatter, but we'll see how that goes. Thanks for the assist.

As you already know that error doesn't appear in the manual, which makes this a bit of a guess and i see by your update you know what you're doing - does the fuser get warm?? i personally think it's either the fuser or the formatter board.
If you haven't already got it, i could e mail you the service manual (8.07 mb). If you want it just reply with your e mail address.

If you press the go button do you get a secondary error message?? If so what is it and have you tried unpluging it, leaving it for at least 5 minutes.
