I recently bought an AOC E790Sw monitor. When I try to install the monitor driver using the method described in the manual, it gives a "a service installation in this inf is invalid" and there is a yellow exclamation mark in front of the monitor "AOC 1970w" in the device manager. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but the problem remains the same. I'm running windows xp pro. Thank you.
Hi, Download the driver and install . The device drivers for your model computer/laptop can be downloaded from the Dell WEB support site. To download the drivers from Dell WEB site, select your model desktop or laptop, or a better option, type in the Service Tag number, this is printed on the label on the bottom of the laptop and on the back or sides of a desktop. (If the Service Tag label is missing then go the BIOS setting and on one of the BIOS pages, the Service Tag number will be displayed). The Service Tag will open the page where the drivers specific for your model computer/laptop are located. Also make sure you select the Windows XP or Vista version of the drivers for your Windows operating system. Click on this link to download the drivers: - http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/index.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen
I dont think you can upgrade this particular mode.. Its better if you can get a new computer.. If you need to wipe out everything then you need to reinstall everything like OS and drivers which may take long time.. S0 try this.. Dell has a default partition on the computer and you can install with the same.. If
you have windows vista on the computer then tap F8 when the computer
turns on and then you will be able to see the advanced boot options..
Select repair my computer.. In the repair my computer screen select the
dell factory image restore... Your computer will go through the installation and it will be up and running... If
you have windows Xp then you have to turn on the computer and when the
dell logo appears you have to simultaneously press control and the
F11key.. You will be able to reinstall the OS and drivers in this way.. If thi is not available then install OS using the OS disk and then drivers using the drivers disk...
first turn everything off unplug the printer.hook the usb to the computer before you do anything else, then turn on the unit it should make all the adjustments.
