My Kyocera XTC fell in some water on Saturday morning, I removed it out of the water and immediately removed the battery, I wiped and shook out as much water as possible then used the blow dryer to dry using the cool setting. ((DON'T HAVE ANY RICE)) When I put the battery in on Sunday, it comes on but it switches from wallpaper to screensaver a few times and then it reads "Alarms and Clock inactive when phone is off. Switch off phone?" thats all. Regardless of any button I push nothing else happens. Is it damaged beyond repair or is there something else I need to try???

If it was not totally dried before turning it on again, probably it got damaged. you can try to completely dry the phone before trying to use again.
Here is the procedure to take out all moisture trapped in the phone: wrap each piece, phone and accessories, in newspaper. Place a few handfuls of rice into a plastic bag and then place the wrapped phone in the bag with rice. The newspaper wrapping avoids direct contact of rice with your phone because the dust from the rice can get into the small areas of the phone. The newspaper and rice will absorb moisture. Leave it there (with the bag open) at least 24 hrs. Hope this helps!

Immediately remove the phone from the water, turn off the cell phone remove the battery and SIM card. When you have driedthe cell phone by putting in a warm sunny place for several days or in front ofa warm fan heater for several hours then reassemble the phone. Hopefully itwill work properly but if does not work then it is faulty and you need a newcell phone.

I spilled water on my MacBook. Now it won't turn out

First thing is to not try powering the laptop on after the water fell on it. Next, you should remove the battery off the laptop immediately. When this is done, you should fully disassemble the laptop & thoroughly inspect its inside. Look for any traces of water on the circuit boards & on other components. On circuit boards, water damage appears in the form of whitish traces. These needs to be wiped off. This can be done using a tooth brush moistened with few drops of hand sanitizer liquid.
Check all internal connectors & make sure that no water seeped into them. Dry them if needed.
When you are done, re-assemble back the laptop.
If the water fell on the keyboard & you found out that the keyboard is no longer working, then you will have to replace the keyboard.

Camera fell in water, wont work. It doesn't come on. How do i fix it?

be sure to take the battery out immediately after any electronic item gets wet...also check into the possibility of using alcohol, like rubbing alcohol of low water content to help dry....my brother used it on his cell (batter and sim card removed)..he dipped it and shook it out a couple times and let it dry....started to work fine....havent tried it myself tho...he is an electronics engineer and said water will cling to alcohol and alcohol is not bad for electronics...I am doing more checking on this
