Bro, when you see "SMART overall-health self-assessment test result: FAILED!" then this hard drive is either dead or dying. There isn't much you can do other than replace it now.

Well... Yes and No... Does this set have an Ethernet port?
If so then try and plug it in that way.
Try and reset the router and tv
Make sure the connection settings are correct or defaulted
Are you entering the correct password?
Are you close enough to the router?
reset the network setting on the tv
it's possible you may have a bad wifi chip but im not thinking you do. Good Luck and come back it the above does not help we can go more into detail.

Download and install this it will allow almost all media to play in your windows media player.

http://download.cnet.com/K-Lite-Codec-Pack-Full/3000-13632_4-64246.html?tag=mncol;2

Or you could download VLC media player, it plays everything.

http://download.cnet.com/VLC-Media-Player/3000-13632_4-10267151.html?tag=mncol;1

Personally I would stick with the windows media player, just because it's half a part of windows, & it's what I've always used. Or if you have a zune, or xbox windows media player is needed.

Open "My Computer".
Click with the RIGHT mouse-button on the icon for the CD/DVD drive.
Choose 'Explore'.
If your DVD drive is working, some files/folders should be displayed.

Are you using the free 'VLC' software to play your DVD-movie?
If not, search for VLC online, download it, and use it to "play" the movie.
