Plotting Points When I try to plot points on my graph or points with a function my TI 84 plus gives me the error message "Invalid Dim". How can i fix it without restarting (because i have stuff on it that i don't want to put back in). Thanks

You can reset all variables, without losing all your programs. you can hit 2nd>Mem(plus symbol)>reset>All ram Then verify that you wish to do so... It should reset to a working condition... If it doesn't then you may need to lose your programs in order to get your calc to a working condition.

You're probably trying to graph a function that does not involve stat plot features. You can correct this by turning off the stat plot features. Press "2ND" "STAT PLOT" and then select 4:PlotsOff.

So on my graphing calculator i put my equation x^3-x^2-10x-8. then i hit graph and it says err:invalid DIM.

As you can see this function have zero values in the points -2, -1 and 4

I need help with graphing everytime i try to draw a graph it comes up with this ERR:INVALID DIM what does that mean

It means that your Xmin or Xmax is messed up. it often shows up when you are plotting somethings (histogram for exanple) and you don't have enough X or Y range to fit all the points in it. it also happens when you are multiplying matricies without using the right dimensions. ERR:INVALID DIM just means your dimension is invalid.
