Milliliter is a unit of volume, milligram is a unit of mass (or weight). There is no direct conversion between them.
5 mg of water occupies 5 ml. 5 mg of gold occupies about about a quarter of a ml.

Minus and change-sign are two completely different things. Minus is used to subtract one number from another. When you press minus when the input line is empty, your telling the calculator to subtract. The only way it can subtract the number you're about to put in is to subtract it from something else, and that something else is the previous answer, hence the "Ans."If you want to input a negative number, use the change-sign key. If you want to subtract one number from another number, use the minus key.Try pressing the plus key when the input line is empty. You'll get Ans+ in this case as well, The same with multiply and divide, among others, and for the same reason.

Your right you should be in degree mode. However, my guess is you are somehow entering in cot wrong in your calc. Recall cot = 1/tan! In your graphing calculator enter: 35(1/tan(61) = 19.4.
Hope this helped!

I encountered this same problem with the TI-84. Turns out you have to put your P (Percentage) as out of one hundred. For example. With my problem I had;
Trails: 13
P: 53/100
X Value: L1 (List 1)
And then it posted my probabilities to the L2 list. For some reason if you just put 53, or whatever your percentage of success in, it won't calculate.

Is it somehow preventing you from graphing, or are you simply not getting the graph you expect?Most likely you have the angular mode set wrong. You probably want it set to radians. Press MODE, move to the third line, highlight RADIAN, press ENTER, then 2ND [QUIT].If it's not the angular mode, please reply to this post and give an example or two.
