When I type anything into Y= the error message INVALID DIM comes up. For example, if i type in Y=3X+5 the Error message comes up. What do I do to fix this?

I get invalid dim after I put information in window and select histograph and then graph. This happened to me as well. i looked it up and heres what i found: http://www.prenhall.com/divisions/esm/app/graphing/ti83/faq/faq.html
basically you have a stat plot on so to turn it off, press 2nd and then the Y= button to get to "Stat Plot" one of them is turned on so press enter and select OFF. this should fix the problem!
