LOOK INTO WHERE THE PAPER IS FED... THERE IS A TINY SWITCH THAT THE PAPER TRIPS WHEN THE PAPER IS FED INTO THE SHREDDER. THIS SWITCH IS SHORTED OUT OR STUCK INTERNALLY FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON.

I guess you have made sure that the cutters are not jammed by bits of paper and card?

remove the paper tray or all paper trays that you have.
To remove the a tray first you should pull it towards you the most you can than by pulling towards you and in the same time you should lift it up.So again i will explain the procedure, first when is pulled to the max out of the copier you should lift it up for some 45 degrees and than pull it toward you. When you will remove the paper tray or trays inside of the copier where ware the paper tray on the right side of the inside should have some piece of paper which is stuck there. After you will remove the piece of paper the copier should not jammed the paper in B2.
Also see do the paper in the tray is putted as most close to the right fence of the tray, also see do the right green leveler is also closest to the paper in the tray. If the paper on the left and right side of the upper named fences is loosen than the rubber on the right side of the tray will not be able to pull up the paper in the copier when it will need to do it.

After clearing the jam (with the unit unplugged!), let the unit cool completely, then try using it again. A notice on the nameplate inside my unit says: "2 min on/4 min off." Apparently, a thermal cutoff keeps it from overheating by automatically preventing continued operation that might otherwise melt the parts. So heed the directions. I had the same problem with my NoviTech Model PS-026/B2 crosscut shredder (max: 5 sheets, 1 credit card). Also, make sure the motor mechanism is seated square and flush on the bin. I tried testing it out of the bin, and the green ready light wouldn't come on -- for a good reason: safety. (I still have all of my fingers, thanks to that!) Hope this helps.

B2 error = scanner or power supply error
Brother 950/980: On copy or transmit they may produce black pages. Prone to bad scanner (CCD). Brother may provide a replacement CCD at no charge to the original owner. Sometimes leaving the unit unplugged for a few hours will solve the problem temporarily.
Brother HL600 series laser printer toner will work in the laser fax & multifunction machines (part number TN100HL = TN100PPF). Drum units may be interchangeable as well (?).
Brother 1350/1550/1950: Problem: Record paper jams. Solution: Replace upper shoot. P/N UF6058001. Although there seems to be nothing causing the jam, the upper shoot gets stress marks on the ends. Replace even though it is not broken.
Thermal Transfer Machines: Only one side of the page is printing. Caused by the printhead latch being cracked. The latch is blue in color there is one on each side of the printhead, replace both latches
