Make sure the fax machine is properly installed with an operational phone line. Put the papers in the fax machine (ensure they are facing the proper direction). Dial the number you want to fax to, ensuring you have the proper codes for external lines and long distance calls if required. Push the start button. The machine will scan your documents, dial the number, and send the faxed documents when a connection is made.

Paper jam 2 but no paper is stuck

Most printers/faxes need more than one or two sheets of paper in the hopper in order for printing to commence. If it's not that, take out all paper. Turn off the printer/fax. Wait five minutes and turn printer/fax back on. With some printers/faxes, that almost acts like a re-boot. Good luck!

The fax will not pull the paper through

What kind of fax? Is it a roll or plain paper. Pull the paper out and examine the roller that is pulling the paper in. If this roller has white paper dust on it wipe off with some water on a papertowel and try again.

PULLING THE PAPER IN WHILE FAXING OTHERWISE IT WONT WORK

it is a dust problem on the pinch rollers which dragin and roll the paper out.
a servicing is required . please also try to load more paper as some times the more paper you load , the easier the dragging in of paper is
single paper inserting for a fax gives such problems . also quality of paper for fax must be the one recommed by the fax company ..using another quality paper will make the paper jam.

Fax machine problems

I need to know if it still reads "paper jam?" If so, there must either be some piece of paper that is triggering the paper sensor, or the paper sensor actuator has become misaligned.
