Canon IP90 ink pad is full

This may clear the ink absorber problem. There is ink absorbers located at both ends of the printer where the ink head move.
To dry the ink absorber, power up the printer and open the cover so the ink cartridges and print head will move to the middle of the printer.
Then take several sheets of absorbent tissue, fold it into a pad and place it inside the printer over the ink absorber on the far left hand side of the printer to soak up the excess ink. You may need to change the absorbent tissue a few times. Then repeat the same procedure on the right hand ink absorber.
Close the lid and the printer should now function normally.

Printer (HP5650) has full ink cartridges.window sez almost empty

That is normal, the printer "sees" the cartridges by their serial number, so when you pop in a refilled cartridge, the printer thinks you have put in old cartridges and continue to show low ink level. When you pop in a new one, with a new serial code, the ink level will reset, showing that the cartridges are full again.
You can try this:
1. Open printer lid so cartridges move to center of carriage.
2. Lift clamp and remove black or color cartridge from the holder.
3. Place cartridge on table with copper contact strip facing you.
4. Carefully place a strip of clear plastic tape over the four contacts on the upper left corner of the cartridge.
5. Reinstall cartridge in printer and close lid. Wait until cartridge returns to parking position.
6. Open lid and remove cartridge again. Remove tape from left side and place tape over four contacts at upper right corner of cartridge.
7. Reinstall cartridge in printer and close lid. Wait until cartridge returns to parking position again.
8. Open lid again, remove cartridge, remove tape.
9. Reinstall cartridge and close lid.
Printer will now recalibrate. Once the process is complete the ink level meter should be reading full again.
Doesn't always work, but you can try.

Brother printer ink tanks not resettinmg to full when refilled When ink tanks are refilled and replaced the printer is still showing empty tanks and still printing in a green colour

I had the same problem;
Try this
1. Turn the printer off (push off button)
2. Open cover and remove all the ink cartridges. Just out of the clip will be sufficient
3 With cover still open, Turn printer on again (push on button)
Message should come up to replace all the ink cartridges ( in sequence probably). Follow the instructions
4. When all the cartridges have been replaced it will prompt you to close the cover.
5. Close the cover and it will ask if you've replaced each of the cartridges one by one
6 Use the up arrow (Menu,up arrow, down arrow, set) to indicate 'yes' for each one.

The printer will then do a clean cycle and everything should be ok from here

Good luck

MFC-215C printer not printing

Hi, I had the same problem and found the answer from one website. Heres how you can fix it
1) Open the cover
2) Remove the empty cartridge
3) Close the cover without putting in the new cartridge
4) Open the cover and install the new cartridge
5) Close the cover and restart the printer (press power save to shut down and press it again to turn it on

It should go into cleaning and when you check the Ink Status monitor, it will detect that the ink is full.:) Hope this helps, it worked for me
