Sir, what color has the problem? I don't understand you question? Are you using OEM parts. Have you had qualified Konica Minolta technician look at it?

Testimonial: "In this case is magenta, but also happens in more colors.New development unit, after 3000 copies , leaking developer. I would like to make a general Rist so I get a machine with no data as if it were a new machine out from the production line. And then do Update software. I'd love to know if there is another solution to the problem of leaking developer. Thank you"

SOURCE: How can i settle the problem of magenta developer finishing so fast. Magenter developer for Konica Minolta Bizhub C550 is getting finished so fast.

If the message Change Imaging Unit Magenta displayed refer to imaging unit with contents a developer. The Imaging unit life is 80.000 copies.
The imaging units located after front door when is located the waste toner box.
If the message M toner end/change the M toner displayed refer to toner cartridge
The toner cartridge life 15.000 copies 5% saturation. In full color mode the color saturation is 80% and the color toner life is 6.000-8.000 copies.
I think your problems is a toner not the developer.

How to reset c2557

Might want to have the developer replaced and drum/cleaning blade normally done all together, then run the TCR procedure/Developer Charge, and make sure the counters where cleared. Did you recently replace the drum and the developer if so did you clear the counters for the drum and developer, FIRST? IF not then the copier thinks the new drum and new developer are old. The copier works on the counters that is how it knows it got a new drum and developer. Get new developer and a new drum and have it installed correctly. Ensure Drum Dry is run first, Counters are clear before the unit is yanked out of the machine, then you remove the image unit/drum unit replace the developer/drum and cleaning blade. (DO NOT USE A VACUUM CLEANER WHEN REPLACING THE DEVELOPER static electricity can destroy the sensor located below the developer unit. Then reinstall and RUN TCR Developer Charge. Make sure the fax line and Ethernet cable is removed can't print anything until the TCR is run. Or you will start all over again with new developer and a new drum.

How to reset c2557

i put in a brand new developer unit, using the new developer I had just replaced into the old developer unit, reset drum and maintenance counters, ran F8 again. The machine came into ready, ran (1) copy, jamed on fuser entry and C2557 fired again. I then reset the switch in the back (right hand side), reset the switch on the main board, reset drum and maintenance counters, ran F8 again. The machine came into ready, ran (1) copy, jamed on fuser entry and C2557 fired again.

Bizhub minolta 600 and 750

Have you had the developer and drum replaced or does the screen say Replace PC Drum? There are certain house chores the copier does before "Ready to Copy" it is waiting for them to get done, so that equals "Please Wait". One big item is making sure the developer and toner are properly mixed inside the image unit underneath the drum. Might want to have the developer replaced and drum/cleaning blade normally done all together, then run the F8 procedure and make sure the counters where cleared. Did you recently replace the drum and the developer if so did you clear the counters for the drum and developer, FIRST? IF not then the copier thinks the new drum and new developer are old. Konica 7022 F-26-2 and F-26-3

hold down the asterisk button until it asks for code, then enter 9272 then start print. go to adjustments and look for L-detect. Just navigate through until you find it, can't remember off hand exactly where it is.
Prior to this make sure the developer unit is engaged properly and all connectors are plugged in, if you vacuumed this unit you may have blown the L-detect sensor,( This sensors measures the density of the toner and developer mix). or you don't have enough developer in the unit.
Good luck!

: The problem occurs because of the trickle development system in the machine, making extended lengths of black and white copies / prints does not allow the black developer housing to purge itself of excess waste Toner (Dry Ink) and Developer. There are two solutions for the problem:
  • Make 1,000 copies / prints of a black and white job, then make 150 copies / prints of full color. Continue making 1,000 copies / prints of the black and white job, then 150 full color, and so on, until the entire black and white job is complete.
  • Make extended jobs in groups of 100 by making 100 copies / prints of the black and white job, then allowing the machine to cycle down (return to 'Ready') and making the next 100 copies / prints. Continue in this pattern until the entire black and white job is complete.
or
  1. Power OFF the machine.

  2. Wait 30 seconds.
  3. Power ON the machine.
