Have you tried the Transfer Unit.? That is what transfers the ink to the paper before it is fused by the fuser.

I would guess Trasfer Unit if it is all colors.. If it is one colr then maybe laser unit.

Low Toner Warning

Turn the unit off. Remove the cartridge and shake it back and forth. Ten place it and turn the unit back on. Also you can reset the counter on the cartridge, go to UNI KIT and look under Brother TN 110 refill support. These people sell refills. The ink you get with he printer is minimal. Also turning the printer off and back on will help with resetting. I found that there is plenty of toner left when the warning comes on.

Can't print to the edge of the page

I don't know many inkjet printers that can print to the edge of the page on all four sides. The area in which the rollers feed the paper often can't be printed to and neither can the very bottom.

Colors become lighter toward end of print

yes, the original image may have been released too soon from the scan image input. check the original and see if the color is lighter. flip the image bottom to top and run 1 copy to see if the problem is still there in that location. if it is, then you have a backlight burnout occurring or dirty glass area.

Only left page printing

Try resetting the unit. This is performed through the MENU button and is explained in details in the user manual. You will have to re-program the date, time, paper size and so on.
