Xerox Phaser 3600 printing 3 horizontal black lines across every page

Replace your toner cartridge with a known good one even if it's empty. If the lines are not present you know you need to install a new one.

Need to print a report of past print jobs

If you have CentreWare IS you can do the following (taken from the manual):

On page 97 of the manual it states:

Using Printer Management Features


Job Accounting

The printer stores information about print jobs in a log file. The log file is stored either in the
printer’s memory or on an optional hard disk if one is installed in the printer. If the log file is
stored in the printer’s memory, it is lost when the printer is reset. It is recommended that a hard
disk be used for job accounting.

The log file lists job records. Each record contains fields such as user name, job name, pages
printed, job times, and toner and ink used. Not all fields are supported by all printers. For
information go to CentreWare IS online help or CentreWare Web online help.

The job accounting values reported vary depending on the protocol and print command used
when each job was printed. For example, using NPRINT over NetWare provides the printer
with the most information about the job being printed. When using Windows and NetWare, the
job name is often LST: or LST:BANNER. Other jobs from other ports may provide less
information about the job.

Job accounting is available through CentreWare IS and CentreWare Web.
Using CentreWare IS

1. Launch your web browser.
2. Enter your printer's IP address in the browser’s Address field (http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx).
3. On the right side of the main CentreWare IS page, click Jobs.

The “Job Accounting Links” page provides links that enable you to browse, download, and
clear job accounting records.

For complete information on CentreWare IS job accounting, including clearing job
information, downloading job information to a file, and job accounting file formats, go to
CentreWare IS Online Help.

Phaser 8200

That normally indicated a heating issue with the print head. Could be the printhead itself or an issue with the electronics module providing the source voltage for that heater

My Xerox 8400 is printing

Try printing a light stripes test page (Troubleshooting, print quality problems, troubleshooting print quality page).

If you do not appear to have many missing jets but the colours are all just wrong it may be that the ink has gone stale. Run a couple of head cleans and you should see the colours start to improve. If it is getting better, all you can do is keep running head cleans until you have replenished all the ink in the printhead well.

This problem is common in situations where a lot of black and white printing is done, with very little colour.
Alternatively, it could be that your wiper/cleaning blade is not cleaning the head properly and is smearing the different coloured inks across the head, or possibly that your printhead is leaking colours but I think the first solution should solve your problem.

We are a North American website and only converse in English. hello, I have a phaser 7800? the ignition it puts this code, I switched off and on again? the first switch after 5 seconds as indicated. Xerox Phaser 3260 Printer. I can't reset counter on it. Is there software to do that?

Output tray is full

Hi, there must be an actuator of the output tray sensor.It is placed above paper tray, just in place when paper exit from machine.Try to clean sensor,or to place actuator in proper place-pull it down.Also,maybe is actuator broken.

Stuck 8560 waste tray

You will probably have to remove the left side cover and clean some spilled ink from around the waste tray.
That normally is what causes that.
There is a tray lock on the machine, but I personally have not seen that be an issue.
If there is a lot of ink in the machine. make sure after you clean it out, that you level the machine front to back and side to side. You do that by placing a level on the glass and level it up by that.
