If the door seal is that bad that it is letting all of the cold out. Put the duct tape on the left, right and bottom edges. Just enough pressure to seal.
Why is my Powerbolt 1000 unit beeping? To determine why your lock is beeping abnormally, please follow these steps:
Take out batteries and unplug powerstrip.
Let it sit for 1 minute, then put the batteries back in and wait another minute.
If it does not beep, the keypad needs to be replaced (17733-1).
If
the unit continues to beep, the powerboard needs to be replaced

check the door switch to be sure its working, if you have to you can jumper the wires to it, for the check, if the beeping stops it could be a couple of things,, the switch, or some models have a beep if the door doesn't seal correctly,, so clean off the door seal
I have the exact same problem - still no solution - this is the only posting I could find ... anywhere! If I figure out something, I will let you know. I love the steamer, but the beeping is also driving me nuts!
HATE TO SAY IT BUT THE BOARD WOULD NEED REPLACEMENT.BEEPING NORMALLY INDICATES A FAULT CONDITION WHICH WOULD STOP THE CYCLE(WASH) OR THE COMPLETION OF A CYCLE.
